To be fair she stopped asking. And you are givin the choice to dump liam. That latter bit is the players fault for not reading the room. They actually told you exactly how it would go with him before they offered that choice
This feels like laziness on the part of the Dev. If she stopped asking, to me, it feels as if she doesn't give a fuck about the MC, or she doesn't want to know about who he's fucking. So, the Dev should give the players a choice to at least ask her if she wants to know about the MC's adventures, placing a seed in her mind that he too is fucking others, hence, might lose the love of her life while she is fucking a guy she barely knows. If I was the MC and she asks me if I want to know, I would ask her if she wants to know too. It's only fair.
