i just excluded ai cg of tags, and non ai cg games come out pretty damn consistently. so i'll just take your comment as fearmongering. There's only 1288 games with ai cgs.
But yeah, this game is slop. one of the bad phone games.
At least people here tried it out first before generalizing, that's always good to see.
The problem isn't so much AI CG to be honest. there's some game out there that use AI CG who are actually good VN games. The problem is that those games have people behind them that actually craft everything else, the code to the story from top to bottom and those things ARE pretty solid. AI CG simply allow them to shelves updates faster without having to wait on an artist (it's also cheaper) but it's build on the basis of those game being actual good game to begin with.
The problem come from the 95% other games using AI art, because they also use AI coding, AI writing, have incredibly lazy plots, go nowhere for months on end, with anemic update probably thrown together in the span of a single week end at best but shelved every month or so seduce patreons users into a milking machine. But those games have existed long before AI everything arrived, there's been slop for years here (pointing at nearly every single real porn game stealing content for pics and video while being literally nothing than glorified slideshow out there), it's just that slop has never been easier to produce than today xD
I don't care if you use AI art, I care if you're story is good, if you're gameplay is decent and if your update are meaty enough to hold my attention for more than three and a half minute.
I don't mind THIS game in particular being part of the slop, since the dev actually was upfront that this was a first time ever game, tried a few things, plopped a pre alpha, rebooted it, trying to keep bugs under control. Will it go anywhere? No. Is the story any good? of course not. It's more of a student project with no skill behind it but it's fun to see if the dev can outgrow that poor start. I probably look up this game every once in a while more for that than for the game itself xD
And of course, they are actual decent and good games using AI cg out there, and well let's not beat around the bush they are 90% of the time made by people who ARE dev outside of this community and only needed to cut out the artist middleman to really get started, so of course those games are pretty good/decent, since they are made by people with experience in making those exact product.
Like Ntr mobile and Netorase phone are made by people who are or where devs before going full time indi game dev. And those two games are actually decent/good VN porn games compared to 95% of everything else.
Now them being to your taste or not is clearly a complete other matter.
