The level of VNs has now definitely declined. A few years ago, the real creators invented, created and designed beautiful products. Today, AI has practically killed the VN market, building copy and paste versions of NTR phones. We are now saturated, but worse, no one, I repeat no one, is different. Total decline of VNs.

Just complete bullshit. I searched the latest updates before coming here (With NTR and Cheating tags) and the first 14 most recently updated games aren't AI or phone games. AI has just lowered the bar for skill needed to make a game so there are more games now, but not fewer of the other games. Just exclude the AI CG tag in searches and you'll still have a shitload of games. Besides, there was never a golden age of adult games as you fantasize. Most games sucked then too, always have.

So what's the difference between a pre-purchased DAZ model (which is basically an asset flip & heavily used in VNs) vs Gen AI?

Really, both are being use by folks having passion projects who's skill set are more focused on the story, drama, etc. I don't see to many indie AO story creators who do "full stack" VN Game dev work.

If the AI folks want to feel less guilty, they may want consider using prompts which either focus on using dead artist's styles OR thieving companies like Disney, AAA Game publishers, etc. claiming "parody" -- and possibly personally tuned lora's based on their art portfolio that help that endeavor.

removing the save data from the appdata folder was the right way. me think that the save system is making things go completly out of whack. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to do everything I want to check the game but it's the only way I got it bug free.

Which is ironically reassuring, as it mean that the large 90% bulk of current bugs are caused by something wonky there and when it's corrected most should disappear.

Thought since it's been a few months since...

Well "what's her name Felicia" really burned me out so I'm just doing a quick check on this game to see where it's at and nothing more. Until it's fully broken or corrected, then I'll advise.

Do any of the Felicia games work at this point? I liked those until they stopped working.

No they broke as hell, the problem with devs like this, is they get the game out and don't test it.

This game I've never seen it run well. It crashes more often than any other game on here. Felicia's will often skip dialogue.

I wouldn't mind felicia broken state as much if the dev at least tried to correct things, but he never did. Just kept pilling more things on broken foundation up until it became utterly unplayable.

When it came out and for the first like 2/4 update it was "alright" as the bugs where present but they didn't break the game yet, then after that point the small bugs became increasingly bigger as they started to break more things. Like the bug that at first made you skip a dialogue choice suddenly started to force you down one path regardless of yoru choice, the 'back' button who sometime wouldn't work started to literally brick the game etc...

Felicia is probably the oldest AI CG phone style game on this site and was incredibly promising early on, but honestly it's so bad nowadays that shooting yourself in the foot is probably a less painfull experience than trying that mess.

But, Felicia started out fine and with some bugs that could have been managed, as did other games. And I'm willing to give the benefice of the doubt during the first few update. Its fair.

It's out on itchio if you want it. There's... not a lot new. And the implementation is rather boring overall. Unless things change I'd call this game a soft pass.

Okay, I played the update (the whole game again actually) and "NTR in mind" is not in mind lmao, tho idgaf it's still damn blunt, no build up, it's like she only wanted to cheat since before even marrying MC... legit 2 days in office and she got banged
Or it's another girl but the odds are damn low

Honestly my main grip is that overall, there isn't much. Like a few minutes worth of reading and.... two or three pic with one line underneath. It's just not enough for me. If you remove those two/three pic you pretty much have a realistic cheating simulator, meaning nothing happen from the MC pov xD

Didn't find enough energy in me to just plop the update here honestly. Game felt a bit too low effort to bother honestly. But since we hang out in the samish thread figured I could give you the heads up anyway.

Game is the perfect example as for why those phones games need "tricks" like NTR mobile nanomachines in my opinion. MC will certainly cheat but again, if it's only to get a pic after the fact with like two line of dialogue that can be resumed as "I felt good, did you felt good?" "I felt good too, see you tomorow?"

I almsot want to try my hand at making one of those just to try and make somethign a bit more interesting than what we got, but beyond writign I got NO idea how to code anything xD
