Possible, but given it actively makes the gameplay experience worse and uses none of the advanced game dev features Unity provides AND Ren'Py's ease of use for designing VNs means they could have learnt Ren'Py from scratch and built this game in less time than it took in Unity, it's a stupid decision to not spend some of the 2 years of intro dev time on that

i'd point out give the nature of this game is supposed to be time loops, you don't need a bunch of slots.
you're expected to do a bunch of runs to 'get them all' rather than do one, save scumming to see all the content.
sort of like the transylvania game here - the point is the loops, so, treating it like a visual novel ish mechanic isn't as needed, even if it makes sense at first glance.
Right, but then if it all boils down to replaying the game over and over again in time loops, then it also wouldn't make sense for the dev to say that the choices you make matter, so I thought maybe he'd add some choices that wouldn't be affected by the loops.

thats actually kinda a good point, but, presumably a bit much to expect in .2.
and even then, 'meaningful' choice in a time loop game isn't quite the same, expectations. same assumptions for other kinds of games are flawed.

And.. Please stop trying to push RenPy onto everyone. The features that engine provides are not particularly difficult to implement independently within a single project - designing them to behave and feel familiar to players used to RenPy (in terms of hotkeys and navigation) is no big deal compared to the actual game development process itself. However:

There are priorities in development. Features like rewind, skips, multiple save slots - all these things make sense to introduce gradually as content grows. Sure, it’s convenient when they’re built into the engine from the start, but their absence in the early stages isn’t critical. In the third version, I added dialogue speed settng. In each new version, I’ll keep adding the rest without compromising the game’s progress itself. And expanding the number of save slots is trivial - early builds simply didn’t need many.

The game is planned to include technically complex scenes and additional non-VN gameplay. Making those in RenPy would be suicidal, especially for someone who’s been working with C++ since 2007 and later with C#. Of course, I’ve studied Python and even built a dozen web projects with it, but I would never make a game in it - especially not a dream project. Any step beyond the bounds of a standard visual novel would quickly turn into a nightmare.

C# provides strong typing, fast generics without boxing, reflection, memory control, async support, and AOT/JIT optimization, which makes it reliable and predictable for large game systems. Python, on the other hand, is limited by dynamic typing, the GIL, and low performance. Unity’s shader system is also a rational choice thanks to its native HLSL support, compute shaders, SRP Batcher, and direct GPU access without unnecessary abstraction. Unity’s editor extensibility is likewise extremely valuable for development.

People are getting too hung up on what they see in the earliest demo builds. I understand that Ren’Py games can feel more polished from the very first versions due to their "out-of-the-box" solutions, but that’s only a temporary issue of the early, rough builds.

I have nothing against games made with RenPy -as long as people don’t try to push that technically unjustified choice onto me. I’m not going to abandon future ideas and planned features in my game just for the sake of a few built-in convenience buttons.

Or maybe he's the one in the right. Let's not provide options that no matter which is chosen the dev is the villain.

Yeah very promising start like others said. Would it be possible to make AI animated scenes instead of the simple switching between 2 images (penis in penis out)? Seems AI animations is getting pretty good these days.

Yes. Please add to Ctrl, skip function in options. Even unseen, as option in many, like Ren'Py do. Like “skip all” or “only seen”.
Sometimes I restart the game, especially if some older screens, sprites are changed. And no prior saves are there, so I need to quickly progress the game to the point where I left and/or see some changes in older content.

Speaking of which. Girls are very nice. But their faces, style and size of boobs are quite inconsistent.
Especially the latter is painful, as a very big (huge and gigantic) boobs lover - I see it.

Your own screenshot shows good size here, some even bigger sizes in other pictures. Good! Bigger is better!
But in some screens they are like half the size. Which is painful and saddening. Please, there are like 2 such screens is the 0.1 game version one, but they are visible. Other inconsistencies (faces, etc) are less prominent and almost O.K. for drawn art (generated, but still). Her face here is like a little more mature style. Not age.

And here is totally fine and looks like her cover picture, but... And this is personal preference, I do not like "dog" or "baboon" faces more that they need to be elongated in lover half.
You can call it smaller nitpick. I know such style is used in anime, etc. I just do not like more monkey features of long nose bone and very moved forward jaws and lips.
So, the question is. Can you revisit a few arts, and do you need to concrete screens where her boobs are much smaller than in others?
