I was really contemplating whether to play this game or not, due to seemingly small amount of content. Your review completely changed my mind. If re:zero is bad for you, and this game is WORSE, then this game has to be the best game of all time, lol. If you're calling an isekai dark fantasy, with amazing world building, side characters and exploring people's flaws one of the worst anime of all time, that shit speaks volume about you. I'm not gonna flood this thread with me being biased towards re:zero, and I don't think there's anything wrong with power fantasies or popcorn shows, but if a show is not like a OP MC fairytale with a harem, that doesn't make it bad. Give it a go, Subaru has cringe moments, but they are *human* moments, he's a depressed loser trying to survive and save people in a world where almost everyone is stronger than him by default, and shit he's going through changes people for the worst, but he's still pushing through.

It's about the fact that he has to literally DIE to get stronger that ticks me off. If you wanna enjoy masochism go right ahead it's why I hate chainsaw man it's why I hate chained magical soldier on HIDIVE.

Also considering I've completed and am up to date on more than 11 thousand animes currently I think my critique of re:zero is spot on. So unless you've consumed the amount of anime I have I don't think you have any right to question it.

as a guy who is only here to jerk off, this game genuinely makes me want to vomit. I'm not a fan of ntr, but it is decent material usually. So normally I power through and simply jerk it. This game though, it hurts to play, which i guess means it is good for those who like ntr. However I am just here to jerk it to the art and stop being horny. So I beg, I plead add a real skip button something so you can skip dialogue see the pictures.

it's not Masochistic homie. No one's into dying brutally (I hope, at least), but that's what makes it a dark fantasy. Also, he's actively avoiding death, he hates dying. Most of the time people are like, "Subaru's stupid, he can just die and do everything over again" while they completely skim over the fact that he hates dying, it hurts, it's scary and traumatizing and everyone forgets all those important moments he had with them previously, worst of all, he can't share it with anyone. It's the epitome of loneliness. At one point in the story, people *know* that Subaru's not strong, but at the same time, they always feel safe with him, because they think that he's "the luckiest mf ever and the best strategist to ever live". While he had to suffer so much to get to that "happy end".

I went ahead and ranted about re:zero anyway even tho I said I wouldn't lol, sorry. Got rly upset couple days ago when I noticed solo leveling getting anime of the year so that's why I got insta triggered. ANYWAYS I tried the game, it's fine. It's still very barebones but I hope it's gonna work out. I like the idea, however, one thing I'd like is that I would want there to be good decisions you can make to avoid death. Or that a ntr moment doesn't end with a death so everything is just reset. I'll be keeping an eye on this game, good luck, dev! If I see that you're commited to the game, I'll honestly consider getting the S rank sub to support the dev, I would do it now, but there have been sooooo many devs who abandon the game they just started making, or suddenly start having health and family issues, following into internet issues into another health issue into a vacation and so on.

Anyone else struggling to get this version running on Linux via Lutris? Or in general on windows? Downloaded the pixeldrain version. Crashes for me. Other games run no problem.
