The point is to give the game a genuine feel of "these people are trying to get the girl regardless of what the MC does or does not do". Which is, imho, something a lot of NTR games can learn from. It's not perfect by any means, but at least the dev tried, which is more than I can say about most H-game devs out there.
You can obviously still watch the scenes if you find her in time... assuming you don't choose to stop them. (At least until the first full on sex happens, at which point you can't stop them anymore.)

I have a question, I saw that you can avoid NTR, but the developer put this in the game description. The game will progress and Artel will be cuckolded even if you do not watch the events. Does this mean that even if I avoid NTR, it still happens, just behind the scenes?

No, you can avoid NTR events by interfering with them, but if you miss one it will still happen whether you see it or not.
My only complaint with this game is that, it is too easy to actually prevent the scenes. Once prevented, some characters actually stop trying indefinitely. I'm not sure if this is a bug. I'm trying a no upgrade run right now and it is a lot more exciting. Is there any other game with this mechanic aside from Nebel? It's actually fun running around trying to prevent scenes..
Same issue, also, my lockpicks never broke for whtvr reason even though the only upgrade I got was to see her location
That one might be a bug then? My lockpicks, only having a 20% chance of not breaking, definitely breaks a lot.
Damn, must be a me issue then. What link did you download the game from? and did you download the patch too? Also I'd really wish the characters wouldn't just give up completely after a couple of denies lmao

I have the same problem, after the i can work longer/hooray choice the screen fades to black and it gives you the same dialogue/event without a way of continuing
