If you have the spycam, you can spy on them and just keep clicking on the tv until the husband disappears. When that happens, he's outside and you can go talk to him.

Well lets hope you can wait to new year. If you read a few pages back (maybe only one or 2) it seem that GB will release the update around the end of this year.

And don't forget GB has had a habit of underestimating the time it takes to update and release. I think most of his update releases were a little bit late, or at the far end of what he thought would happen. Now, seeing as he already had a lot of the current build ready, it might be in time, but it could also very well come within the first weeks of 2022.
To be honest I have no idea I discover this game with this update, so a little late to the party so no idea about timing with the updates of the game, I was just answering with what I saw people say.
