Anyone else having issues with save files? Like, none of my saves are loading and I'm stuck on my last save. Was really hoping to jump to the saves and see what the update brought rather than having to go back through it all again at this point.

You might have to delete your saves, this is in the settings menu. Next update will get save system overhaul.

Well I'm only up to the point where she has an interview for some office job in the city, but if she can start doing things with other guys with the MC's consent then that's cool

Instead of letting her look for work, tell her you have to move away. That's how you unlock the other routes

Okay for the options about work I've got "You can stay at your job, I'll look for higher paid work". Or "Maybe you should ask about new jobs in the city". So do I go for the I'll look for higher paid work choice?

Yup!! Then eventually you get the option to go to the bar (triggering bar route) or go to the gym (after saying no)

Game launches in full screen with the bottom cut off so I can't hit accept on the "Are you 18" screen.

I had the same issue. I think it's related to wide/ultrawide monitor resolution. I changed my resolution in the Display settings from 5120 x 1440 to 2560 x 1440. From there I was able to see the whole screen, answer the first couple questions and go into the game settings. In there, I took Fullscreen off and set the resolution to 1920x1200. Set my display resolution back to 5120 x 1440 and it looks OK in the window now.
