It's a bit sad, as I think AI is the single most empowering tool we got as layman people to just start 'making' things. Obviously it suck for artist, especially small and medium one, but for someone like me? whose ability to draw is the stickman, that cannot understand how most music instrument work? I can literally sit in front of my computer and try my hands at those things as long as I don't want top tier jaw hanging quality. It's honestly amazing, like i've been on a binge of making songs for some characters I write and like three quarter of the time I get off key junk but that last quarter is top notch for what I want. been banging my head like a metalhead a few time xD
If I could splurge a couple hundreds bucks every time I want some solid song, or some solid artwork done I would... but I'm just a regular guy, I don't have THAT kind of funds for something like this more than ONCE or perhaps TWICE a year. And don't mistake but good art and music cost a LOT of money, especially when you start needing that in bulk and it add up really really quickly.
AI quite literally sidestep this whole thing.
Evidently that's going to generate quick get rich scheme from unsavory people. But at the same time, now that it's 'mature enough' as I've discovered through 'damn it that's felicia' 'Netorase phone' and 'NTR mobile' I really want to try my hand at making a small VN too. AI reduced the bar of entry significativly enough that someone like ME, can now look at a VN with anime picture and original song and ambiance and say "Hey I think I can give it a try making one..." (of course keeping it small and not over the moon, just a small lil thing for the fun) without having to worry about spending money as much, just time, and still having something that can look and feel of at least decent if not good quality.
This is fucking amazing. There's never been a better time to start creating and making things than now.
