According to the walkthrough there is a happy/lovers route but she still cheats so not quite sure how that translates to a happy route.

Well the mc so far doesn't cheat, it being cheated on or not, depends on what path you take and which pictures get shown to you then, in big lines the story is the same days only different outcomes what happen to his gf and if you will see her more or less.

It shuts the game down when I load, upon restart it does load the correct save though.

Little note here. "PuP" stands for "potentially unwanted program", which is probably one of the least "sure" virus/trojan detections. I'm not telling you to ignore it but you had 1 out of 61 antivirus programs detect it as maleware, that happens on almost every non-conventional program for a variety of reasons, especially on games. Anything from cracked games over normal games that manipulate your memory (RAM) or cheatengine get detections like that.
Again, not telling you to ingore it.
Just saying neither Windows Defender nor Malewarebytes did detect anything on my PC.
Also pretty sure people are not ignoring this / don't care. Most people scanned the thing upon DL, Im pretty sure.
