There is no choice except the meeting point (and looking for Liz when she is in the bathroom to prevent the BJ). Honestly i find it normal that after a night out clubbing you return home with your GF and have sex wiith her. Of course Sam don't come for that...
Just an hint you can have a very different scene on the Lovers path if you choose not to go to the club at all.
For your other question, yes the update end right after the club.

True, but that some factors make it better than others. Having NTR play out as a legit "affair" is miles more intruiging to witness than your gf just riding every dude she comes upon.
In this case, having Liz continue her affair with her manager whenever she can, while still saying "love you, babe" is exactly what NTR should be about. Naturally, at some point, she will get tired of the charade, and just leave with the other guy, but this game has a finger on the pulse of the NTR process.
In one (or some?) of the NTR ending(s) that's probably exactly what's going to happen, but depending on her stats you'll get the chance to win Liz back from that path ... now whether you'd even want that is another story, but I appreciate how much work Nosy is putting into all the little branches. Many games pretend to give choices, some not even that, it's interesting and worthwhile to try the different options in this one.

If you manage to stay on the Lover's path, the counter will remain at "0" to reflect that Liz is not a willing participant here, on all other routes (including "Happy", which is basically a failed Lovers run) she will have sex with Matt willingly sooner or later, so raising the counter seems appropriate. If you see the counter rise, you're not on the Lovers path anymore - you can also always just save if you're not sure after a particular choice, the files tell you instantly what path you're on.

Not exactly. You still manage to keep lovers route at least "1" cheating count, but it should not be sex. Some of blowjob(s) that counts cheating won't kick you to happy path. I played last update yesterday and I did some experimental playthrough while doing many micro saves and still managed to keep "lovers" route with "1" cheating count.
