This is why hyping 0.20 was a bad idea. I wonder what really happened. Maybe something he can't fix easily or he bit off more than he could chew. I don't think he just got lazy after hyping it so much.

On one hand I understand that sometime life can really get bizarre and weird so I do have some high tolerance for excuse. But I would really appreciate if it was just a "I need more time as things are more complicated than I expected"

I still don't mind the delays, but the excuse start to be just a little on the side of gratting xD

As for the story if this is the largest to date update well I expect it to be the largest to date.

Same but what truly sucks is that I can't believe these type of excuses anymore. So, If someone is on their deathbed for real I'm gonna think they are bullshitting.

0.20 will be released in several parts over the course of a couple months. It took him one month to release the full 0.19 and he got no criticism for that, he has no reason to make a full release when he's rewarded for delaying things over and over again.

Hello everyone,

Small update: I’ve been hospitalized for the last two nights. Nothing major (just a virus) but since my liver wasn’t handling it well, they decided to keep me there just in case. But as of today, I’m free again! I’m still feeling a bit under the weather, but much better than before. They gave me some miracle juice (and antibiotics), which helped a lot.

Now, onto what this means for the current timeline. I wanted to release v0.20 this month, but it’s still missing a few things I really wanted in this version. So, I’m stuck deciding whether to postpone the update or leave that specific part out. Thankfully, most of the update is already done, so if I do postpone, it won’t be for long (probably just two days or so).

I’ve been giving this update a lot of attention, and it feels like I’d be sabotaging myself if I cut corners this close to the finish line. I’ll keep working at a steady pace and decide based on progress by the 30th.

Yes, I know some of you think I should take a few days off to rest, but please try to see it from my perspective. Lying in a hospital bed, unable to do anything for days, was driving me mad. Now that I can work, I’m going to. If you are hospitalized for a long time, my heart goes out to you.

Hospitalization AND a virus with liver complications is NOT a good sign. Dev really should rest and take five if it's really that serious. A big update would probably be appreciated more and will compensate for radio silence.

I guess that kinda happened when love and nts route were bugged and disabled but now it's about 'few things' he really wanted to include and could be missing. Considering how much he hyped 0.20 I would rather wait.

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are doing well. Now as promised, I would update you all based on the progress made till the 30th. Now normally I would have dropped the update or waited until I made a bit more progress on this day itself to update you all. However, beta testing gave some big bugs (what else is new) and those are something that I do need to fix.

I did playtest the new systems, and when combined with the systems released in v0.19 (realtime ShareSpace updates), the experience was everything just came together . That’s exactly why I want these bugs fixed; they’re detracting from what should be an awesome experience.

Here are some examples of the issues:

• ShareSpace not updating properly.
• A new system freezing and failing to update.
• Some ShareSpace notifications not popping up (funny enough, testing revealed 4 of these, but while investigating, I found 8… interesting).
• A specific ShareSpace misbehaving…
• The game bricking at the end of v0.18 (specifically on the happy path).
• Plus a few other minor issues…

I know you’re all eager to play the new update, but after today’s playtest, I can confidently say it’ll be worth the wait.

(Also, since I was in the hospital, I’m staying home sick from work but shhh, don’t tell anyone. )

I can’t wait to make you all happy with the upcoming update. Know that I’m working as hard as I can to get this done as quickly as possible!
