Status update on patreon, anyone know what it says?

the bad new:
1. pc froze, forced to force shutdown, because of it, all worked dialogue for the update got unlinked (unity failed to save the progress before the force shutdown because nosy use some extention to help his work and unfortunately that extension interfered/disabled some of unity feature) , need to link the dialougue one by one from the beginning.

2. nosy is going to be hospitalized on Saturday for 1–2 days (as per his own word, nothing major, don’t worry about it)

the good news:
1. he already repaired all the ntr path and now focusing on NTRS and happy, then lover path
2. will release new update this week (Lover path will come with the buffer update if he cant finish it this week).
3. the update will be gigantic (at least for NTR path) as the NTR path alone add 1 GB of file size to the game (not including the NTRS, HAPPY and Lover path as he hasnt quite finish repairing those paths, so maybe even more gigantic than expected).

I think big size refers to animations. But 1GB still sounds impressive.

Yes, because it's actually not free at all and cost quite a lot.

Every developer uses some sort of fucking version control. In a typical day they should commit 5-15 changes. That's 5-15 "backups" made EVERY SINGLE WORK DAY. Sorry, but as a developer working ~10 years in unity, nosy's excuses are BS, he has either no idea what he's doing or is straight up lying.

From the technical perspective this project has several issues:
- he once provided code snippet, cause he found a bug in it, and was happy to share it. It was abysmal. It showcased complete lack of understanding of how to properly utilize unity features in his code.
- somewhere around July his choice of words suggested he's not using any version control for this project and is thinking of starting to do it.

Because of that I stopped supporting him on patreon, this project will take AGES to develop based just on that.

If you like the game and want to see more cool, gotta be patient guess.
If you don't want to support him because you think he is too slow or whatever else, also cool, but stop making it a witch hunt.

You are turning what could be a passion project, into something he might not even want to touch anymore (for a good reason imo). How about keeping your opinion to yourself or at least making it factual feedback and stop being overly emotional, because it wont bring any positive results.

And for anyone thinking about writing me a book of why i am so wrong, feel free to express yourself, but i won't lose any sleep over it.

What does this change? There are multiple projects on this site that are going through infinite cycles of refactors. Even Nosy states that he "improves" already existing mechanics in each release. All of the problems with the game mechanics and systems that he encounters during development are caused by his poor knowledge of the engine. Add to that the scope creep mentioned pages ago and you have the current state of the project.

I'm not whining about the long wait time between the releases, I'm simply questioning Nosy's coding and project management skills based on the results of his work.
