Same. Can not progress because he simply doesn't appear on the contact list.

I agree, interrupts the flow of the game for stuff that doesn't feel like it really fits.

I do get that not everything really... works? in the framing device of a set of text chats.

Sloppiest of AI slop games to slop on. Random image generator is probably more exciting as it allows you to at least change the size, hair color, and eye color of your random generic cookie-cutter characters.
