I woke up from my slumber and was glad that I didn't buy Avantgarde's latest title. I had a bad feeling about this new game and decided to pirate it and only buy it if it's a great game.
Everything else I needed to say has already been posted by others.

Now I'm really hope the Priestess from BBQ Lover has great NTR.

Despite the grindy gameplay and RNG on some scenes, Nebel was great.

I'd say this visual novel, as it's thoroughly, in a well-written and thought-out way fulfilling all the proper tropes.

swapping falls within the definition of netorare, you will stop being anoyed by that once you understand that netorare is quite a wide word. it is like saying movies (indie movies, superhero movies, drama movies) it contains all those. same with NTR

The problem with Netorare as a tag is that its used as a catch all. The specific definition for Netorare does not include swapping. But in practice its used that way by most sites, so looking specifically for proper Netorare gets you a ton of Netorase and Netori stuff too.

A lot of devs just see it as a popular tag without understanding what people like about it, and just end up doing wester style cuckold stuff and calling it netorare.

Boy Hero Ken. It is one of the few games that does both sprite animation sex and full CG at the same time. It also does the mystery NTR very well.

I know that a lot of people have less interest in female protagonist NTR, which some put more in the realm of corruption. But I'd like to ask you guys how you feel about the following concepts that are both female protagonist based.

1) Female protagonist spends her time dealing with the fact she is harassed at times, which raises meters that you have to deal with, either with masturbating at work or elsewhere as the only time you get to get off is when the male protag is available. Eventually you begin to cheat, however you must actively avoid the male protagonist which looks for you on the map as an objective. I think that most corruption sandboxes simply avoid the fact you could be getting a phone call during a sexual act, and must answer questions from him while you are trying to also do the mini game for the sex.

2) The concept of a male partner being stolen or NTR from a female protagonist which I see very rarely. This is most recently done in RJ01051075 which was pretty refreshing to see. You can actively try to fight it, but it's a simple role reversal. The struggle here is wanting to see the female protagonist fucked at times, but the more you try to chase those concepts, the farther she gets from her BF who starts to be unavailable or even avoiding her for the other antagonist.

For relevance here I've always been kinda just watched these conversations but don't interact much, so just curious! My perception of NTR is a bit different as I'm a woman, and female protagonists resonate more with me but then again male ones are nice to see the difference and reversal there. Also I'm not a fan of neorase, which defeats the point of cheating in my opinion.

this is usually just cheating tag.
for the majority male players, it does not rouse jealousy, nor mystery.
you put them into the shoes of a female eyeing a man. are they supposed to eye that man too?

Yeah i do understand that and it sucks, when I was reading netorare works I remember getting pissed because some of them did not involve cheating at all (at that time i thought NTR meant cheating). Mom NTR, childhood friends NTR. and i was like WTF is with this tag. but like i said we as individuals do not choose the meaning of the words, the collective do.

Western and japanese market are a bit different. Nebel for example did very well in japan but wasnt really liked much in the west.

Also frankly dlsite reviews are kinda weird. Just the fact that the review scores range from like 3-5. Where mediocre games usually get 4-4,5. Anything under 4 is usually trash and you might get a pretty decent game over 4,5.

well...you have to understand that these are not always equal.
Here's an example, the game Dragon Age the veilguard is good in terms of sales, the reviews, if you believe Steam and metacritic, are good, but that doesn't mean the game is good, for me it's disgusting, too much LGBT moment.
Same here. I wrote earlier, the game is like pictures and maybe not NTR is good, but as an approach to NTR it is bad. Plus, the game is more like Netorase, maybe for Netorase fans the game will be good.

This Dragon Age's stuff is kind of offtop, but have people saying it's any good as a game or commercially been living under a rock or something? Reviews-wise it's 2.5-3.9 out of 10 based on user reviews on Metacritic - or do these people suggest that anyone have to pay attention to all these reviewers raking in bags of money for writing positive stuff to boost the sales?

It's just recently some EA director's said that they were aiming for 3 million of sales (or total players though) and there were around a million copies sold - so they are letting people from that Bioware branch that developed the game go or move them to other projects (CoD) or something. lol) to make the game more appealing and successful. He got bashed for this interview completely missing the point...

Maybe it's good as some sort of casual RPG or slasher, but that's not what one would like to see from Bioware and Dragon Age. The interview says the game 'engaged' 1.5 million players, but you have to keep in mind various subscriptions like Gamepass (Todd runs around saying Starfield has had 15 million players, which might be true but yeah... How many owners?). As for DA Veilguard if you check SteamDB 3 out of 4 estimates put amout of owners in the region of 0.8-1.1 million. Kingdom Come 2 had a million copies sold in the first day as they say.
