Recommending NTR, netorare, cuckold - resources, discussion, development

For me it's a good question actually. I feel like it's just because i happen to demand a higher standard of "believeability" for my own entertainment.

I think in one of my older post, i admit that i was able to better receive the story of NTR VNs/games set in a fantasy world altogether, as opposed to those which try to portray an urban life (which i perceive to be an attempt at realism).

This is the way how I see it, so others might disagree. The whole shtick of the kink, at least for the majority of what I can see from the fans, is a pure and fiercely loyal heroine's fall and corruption. That, in itself, is already unrealistic and a contradictory. An actual loyal partner would not cheat nor get corrupted that easily.

Yes, I kind of understand the need for "believability" but for different reasons. I want a certain "believability" when it comes to the reasoning as to why the partner would even entertain such an ordeal, but I would not demand the setting to be nearly realistic. I just want it to feel authentic. If that makes sense.

After all fiction needs to follow its own rules. You can't cast a spell without mana. You can't fire a gun without ammunition.
A heroine should not just agree to it because the bully coerced her slightly.(I am referencing heroines that acts straight up stupidly.) Main reason why I did not like Survival Mission Z.

Sometimes, but I don't think that's my case... Usually in my case I get bad reviews just because the person didn't like something in the game... Like, for a personal reason... In the sense of "I don't like the big proportions"... And that's something very, very personal, it's not something bad about the game... And in this way there are a lot of people like this... I had a lot of people making multiple accounts just to give 1 star to one or to all my games to lower the rating because they didn't like the game... It's sad, but usually moderators make a good work resolving this
Or course there are other saying justified things that they find bad

In a way, i too don't like that i need to be this particular with my pursuit of gratification. I wish to be satisfied with less. But in terms of time and effort, i feel like not everyone can be exemplarily devoted to the art like yourself. At the end of the day, i too just want to nut first and foremost

I wholeheartedly agree. But in the sense that the girl's loyalty is not represented as plainly as just a supernatural immunity to arousal altogether; the testament to her faithfulness is in her hyper-aware action of distancing from/avoiding anything that might brew into depravity at the first sight. But nonetheless, i agree and share the sentiment.

Although note that i am actually open to a Netorare storyline in which the singular male antagonist is authentically a master manipulator who doesn't come across as someone pathetically obsessive. And for me, the greatest manipulator is someone who can convince their subject that the choice they are making is entirely theirs. That is, with minimally resorting to coercion. So with this premise, it aligns with my demand that the apparent unfolding of the corruption is that the once faithful girlfriend "changes on her own".

I haven't came across VNs/games which managed to pull this off, but maybe it's just due to my relatively narrow (compared to some connoisseurs here) library and knowledge of the NTR scene. I know such must exist, and i can attest that there are more than a handful of VNs/games i played that are approaching it. But for me, none have done it masterfully enough to scratch the itch. An i'd love for you guys to direct me to it.

Yes it makes sense for me too. But i guess there is still a great deal of subjectivity when it comes to defining what is "authentic". And i guess for me personally, i'm very inclined to refer to real life (or at least my understanding thereof) when it comes to determining authenticity.

If you’re looking for an NTR where the heroine isn’t really coerced and kind of falls on her own then I recommend The Edge Of by HangoverCat.
By the way this style of NTR is called type A. Type B is when the heroine is blackmailed/coerced.

I've actually skimmed that one. It's the one where the dude screwing the girlfriend all along was the guy that the MC asked for help investigating, right? I actually forgot how exactly the girl fell, which is to be expected from me just skimming the scenes. Great visuals tho, and the artstyle got even better in his later game (A Promise Best Left Unkept).

Ah, yes thanks for the reminder. Some time ago i did stumble upon another megathread/discussion thread where the OP outlined the technicalities of NTR classifications. I thought the thread in question is this very thread, but i discovered just now that i misremembered.

In my opinion, yes... But it doesn't have a lot of that content... And I think it's more of "cheating" than netorare. Since the beginning, it builds up the relationship between the two MC's and we can see the POV of the two of them as the time passes... At one moment we can choose to put them into a relationship... And then, as we control the woman, we can choose to do naughty things with the best friend of the MC (now our boyfriend) and also with other men in the game... Cheating on our BF this way. I am really not sure if the MC sees something of this or knows about it
Other thing that happens is that, when controlling the MC, there will be a woman that is interested in us, but if we take wrong decisions we will see how she fucks out best friend instead, I kind of felt that as NTR when I saw it and was hot, but I really prefer what happens between the MC and the FMC... That they become a couple and the FMC can cheat on him with some guys

those were some good recs! especially the phwa named mother hunting. for me, it was the closest thing to this. a promise best left kept is also a solid rec, but mother hunting had the same vibe. too bad the author didn’t give us many scenes and just turned it into a vanilla/incest fest in the end :/
