Not gonna lie, tried your game, was excited when I saw the size of the game folder. A whooping 2.6GB size folder, then I tried to play a little and okay it looks interesting, the idea and setup could be good, also sounds are beautiful done.
- But then something happened, well actually, nothing happened, there was no content!?, like besides a beautiful made main character bust, there was actually no other content!? - Then I looked at the files, and the image folder is only 241mb, and contains only one CG, with some variants, and actually nothing lewd at all, no nude girls, nothing! Very sad face!
- The 2.6GB size of the game was because of voice acting and sound effects, damn!
- Once again I was let down, just like so many other games out there when they release their first version. damn damn damn!
However, even if I am a bit hard on my critique here, gonna be interesting to see when the game actually is gonna have some more content

Yeah thats why im letting it cook. And its pretty normal for sound to take most of the game size, images dont that that much - unless you are doing high resolution 3d renders.

Right, I think you are spot on, this game needs to cook some more surely! Im only sad since the dev. keeps advertising the game a lot, which is fair since its his little darling! but I was just hoping for some more, since the date says August 2024 which means its 8 months in the making

Yeah should push it when there is actually more content so people dont come out unsatisfied imo. Also pushing something so much can start having the adverse effect. At least with me, the more someone tries to push me something, the less I want it.

. If it's possible, I'd use it for RPGM too.

Shitloads of online translators supported, including AI (API needed), DeeplX, offline - Sugoi + can run local LLM. I ran Moistral v3 and felt like it was occasionally better than Sugoi, if you can allow it you can probably try running Mistral Small or Aya something models (around 15Gb each for Q4_K_M GGUF models) which they say are good for translation from Japanese. There is a drawback in comparison with MTool that it doesn't inject text into the game (there is a window like with Textractor for example), but it's quite good in terms of translators to pick from as I wrote and as you can see. Haven't run it with an RPGM game though yet.



P.S. Also Translator++ version with ChatGPT plugin which allows to run local LLMs for translation too can be found here at F95, if somebody needs that.

As for the lack of content or images, the version you played was just a demo! So there will not be any H-content, similar to many trials on DLsite. ❤

The paid version, available on my Patreon for $5, contains two fully voice-acted H-scenes which clock at 20-30 minutes depending on reading speed. And of course, lots and lots of story—75k words total and another 15k in two weeks!

I will agree that this will not be a game with tons of CGs, as it costs me ~$1000 per scene, but each scene is made with much love from the artist and voice actress. The upcoming fellatio scene, for example, will contain 5 image variations where the heroine is forced to lick the UB’s shaft before progressing to succ deeply. ❤

But yeah, my game is reading-intensive just like Curse of Kubel, which is another plot-heavy game with slow NTR buildup. I actually inserted two early H-scenes in the paid version (Ch. 1 and Ch. 3) to avoid the criticisms of "no early H-scene," so it’s only the demo that doesn’t have them. (If it were me, I’d stick them in Ch. 5 lmao, but some peeps want their early H, so I shall deliver.)

HB is closer to seduction.

But yes, the game is a more traditional, type B netorare (blackmail, intrigue, seduction) than type A (cheating willingly).

- Don't get me wrong, I finished the demo from start to finish, with some minor dialogue skipping that is, thats why I was also disappointed since I did see many scenes. But again, if you say there is another version which actually have a bit more to offer in terms of scenes, well that could make up for it obviously!
- I was under the impression compared to how long the game have been out, around ~8 months if I look at the date on F95, that I hoped there would be a leaked version with more content then just the demo, however that seems to be my own fault obviously jumping to conclusions!

To be honest, I consider the writing the main content, not the H-scenes! But I understand people are seeking different things in games.

The H-scenes are there to advance the plot and add flavor. As someone who likes NVL-style VNs, I’m perfectly fine with just text on screen, so even sprites and voice acting are huge bonuses for me. I won’t make readers suffer through that though, I understand how much value H-scenes add, haha.

That being said, I don't advertise the lewd at all, the itchio page is ironically SFW (and I've made it more SFW over time). The game is actually insanely NSFW (in terms of writing and the H-illustrations), but I wanted to attract the reading-heavy types, and not those seeking a fast H-thrill.

I don’t want people to come just for the H-scenes because that’s bad value, I agree. It’s a slow-burn NTR where the “payoff” comes near the middle-end. The two H-scenes that come early are actually compromies by me xD .

The leaked version, v0.33, actually has three chapters compared to one for the demo, but I won’t promote piracy for obvious reasons xD. I don’t link pirate links to other developer games either, but the DLsite link.

But enough of me! Do you have a demo for Witches and Wizards? I like Harry Potter, so super interested in reading the NTR lol. (I checked the website, but it’s not available yet, but was really curious lol.)

Doesn’t even need fancy artwork - like, hell, even a comic panel or two with a quick grope or ass slap gets the point across.

Not every H moment gotta be a 30-minute saga with full-blown CGs, right?

Preach, I love these little snippets. Can be via cut-ins etc, it adds so damn much. Without stuff like that the games can feel really disconnected. Like you get 2 modes, talking mode and then just 30 minute porn scene modes, can end up with a lot of disconnect.

Its also pretty cheap to do imo. Doesnt matter that you are reusing art, have an art for a butt grope, boob grab, hand on dick etc and you are free to use it the whole game.

But it is a really neat pictorial suggestion. I suppose could do it RPG Maker style, where every harassment has a cut-in (i.e., hand groping the butt) though that would give the game a different, "arcadey vibe."

(I notice JP VNs rarely do this, but I’m tempted to add it in if most consider it an improvement.)

Anyway, I could definitely discuss that with the readers and artists! Don't have the extra funds for it now, but would be worth experimenting with later to see if it sticks.

Sometimes less is more. By showing just these parts, you leave other stuff to imagination. These cut-ins dont usually even show whole face when the face is the focus, just showing mouth (tongue out perhaps), while hiding the eyes, can tell a whole damn story. But you need a good artist to nail the expression.

And again, cheaper. You mentioned some pretty high costs. Not everything needs to have 100% detailed expensive art. Good writing + cut-ins and snippets can be just as good as a whole CG scene. At least in my opinion.

I kinda enjoyed all these cut ins and little gropes in The Scarlet Demonslayer, banned there. It's not an ntr game. But the point is that I agree about the eyes.

Though, no face still worked well for "accentuated poses".
