Just make sure to regularly check for viruses and remove potential candidates from your PC until stuff is confirmed. I am not sure since I didn't download it but it's always better to be safe.

Just a PSA to my fellow degenerates here, for the past few months, this site has been getting a decent amount of viruses in its game uploads .

This is a reminder to always protect your shit and never let your guard down.These recent attacks were snicky btw. Aside from the usual protection you do in your system, the experts suggests you to start and learn how to use sandboxie. One thing that I'll do from now on is wait for at least a week before downloading games here.

Oh and if you think you've been affected, better change your passwords asap. The recent malware on the games was Lumma Stealer

Even OPs have been affected. I remember with Pervert action - timelapse, the virus was so sneaky that even some of the site admins were saying that its fine. It wasnt fine. So you can see that stuff like that can slip through.

So yeah, better be safe than sorry.

Some say AVs can catch it, but not always 100% . The recent ones are snicky enough that they only activate after you start the game , and they even have a scheduled activation, that's why it wasn't detected earlier. They also say that some of them
self-deletes itself.

The games themselves arent such a problem. There is a malicious actor who inputs malware into random updates. Probably looks at update requests on the forum and uploads an infected game. It isnt game specific, pretty much any game, where the dev themselves dont provide the update as soon as it comes out, could be infected.

I guess the best thing really is to set up a virtual machine. But I am no expert in that.

I said that because, apparently the games that are infected downloads the info stealer and executes it. I was wondering if the games you download are blacklisted in your firewall would still be able to download the info stealers.
