Yeah patreon game development has downsides. People want to have content already at 0.1, so hard to make a slow burn. People look forward to every update, so they expect to be satisfied with every update. So again, you cant really have space to set things up, make a proper story structure.
So usually with these games that went on for long enough, they might be pretty okay update by update, but if you play them all together, its an absolute mess.
