Speaking strictly from a game design perspective to not derail the thread too much. SoS falls into the same trap as many other NTR games.

It introduces more branching paths than it can afford to flesh out. To any NTR devs lurking in the thread, you don't need the NTR Avengers in all your games. Having a 2 or 3 fleshed out routes with each appealing to different types of NTR fans would work. One can focus on a pure love route but with a rival, one can be a blackmail route and one can be a corruption NTR route where the heroine is turned into a cum dump.

You also don't need 9 trillion heroines (looking at you Shaman). You'd spread the scenes out too much if you do that.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.
A good NTR game only needs one heroine and bull. Two of each is also fine, but anything more and you’re too spread out.
Compelling characters > multiple characters.

Did Luxoria sell well? Yes!!! However, I guarantee that it would be one of the best sellers of the year overall if the artwork were at least a 7. The game is very good; in fact, all Mijiishi games are!

Well game dev is hard. Using something like rpgmaker of renpy simplifies things a little but for a non programmer it still has its difficulty.

I gave up explaining this to people. I know being skeptic of 'milking' is fine but sometimes it's just so overdone... It really feels like people just refuse to acknowledge that these things take time...

There is no winning. Game released too soon and unpolished. People are mad. "Another slop NTR game"
Devs take time. "This dev is so fucking lazy and such a bum"......

I was thinking the same while reading the last comments on the thread for nuko majin new game, everyone ranting about him being "lazy" but not a lot expressed the same about dark cookie, the ones from cloud meadow, eromancer or other western devs that milked for almost 10 years their fanbase, but no the one that is milking is nuko that has nearly like 2/3 years developing his new shit :rolleyes:

Yeah, I stopped commenting on that thread too after people kept being mad about Nuko Majin being "lazy" or having skepticism about "milking". I would only visit/comment when there is new stuff but it's just annoying that people are SO negative on that thread.

When Nuko Majin:
-Already completed 3 games prior.
-Collaborated for another game with Cobra, hence the delay for the new game.
-Is implementing a rather complex system for an RPGM game.(easy engine to use but it gets janky when you do more complex things)

I don't know why people have not seen the pattern of an actual milking yet before they become so paranoid about it. You can see a huge difference on what actual milking looks like compared to devs that take their time.

The only thing Nuko Majin milks is the NTR tag. None of his games actually feature NTR.
Claiming his stuff is NTR is like claiming your friend’s mother having sex with her husband is NTR.
