I really don't know, I've never read a korean web novel. But for what I see in manwha/doujins is the "submission through rape" in Asian Erotic School (let's call it that way) deeply in average productions. For me it's a boner killer for corruption. And in that point, Western did better.

I like submission through rape, but it has to be well done with blackmail too, and slow corruption. And zero attraction for the "slut fucking everyone since chapter 0" thing most western stories do lol.
But I understand not being into that.

Fair, it look for different things in porn and non porn works. Im not super investing into porn characters. But in a non porn work I want to have a happy fairy tale ending since I get super invested into the characters.
