I never really made a google doc. If someone knows how to do it well and to protect it against trolls that would delete it all, feel free to make one. Then we can start adding games.

Game should be released (or completed) in 2024. If a game was only translated in 2024, then put it there but add a note to it (something like [TL 2024, R 2021]. "R" as in released.

I am still not sure if we should add ongoing games in there, but I dont think we should. Only ongoing games that were finished in 2024.

So the info there should be GAME NAME [Author name] [TL xxxx, R xxxx] -- | -- Link to the game on f95/vndb/dlsite/fanza

EDIT: Okay read a previous post and that is true, ongoing games should have their own category. So You can add ongoing games there, but add an additional [Ongoing] behind the author name.

Be careful of games that only got a small bugfix etc. They will pop up although they may have been released much earlier.

Frankly we should get the google doc going and I think people will add the most important ones there, then we can start sifting through the search engine to make out the stragglers we missed.

you're right.
I realized while making this list that there are a lot of Western devs who are running small projects and are still working on them. Even if these games don't end up winning any awards, I think just having them on one of these lists as a possibility for voting could help them.

For ongoing games, only games that were got an update this year should apply imo. So we dont put in half dead games.

If people want an editor I will give it to people I see in this thread often and I feel I can trust not to wreck the doc. Just write me a message. I am not 100% sure of how the privileges work, but I guess that editor can do a lot of damage? If somebody who knows docs better tells me its fine to let everybody be editor, I will change the link.

EDIT: there is a lot of trash out there, so we may not be putting in every single game that was released. If you find a game missing that you think deserves to be put in there anyway, tell us. But if we put every 1 star slop in there, it will become too much of a mess that will be just horrible to navigate

I'd add NTR by clumsiness (completed this year) and Summer stolen paradise (ongoing, hopefully dev finish first route this year, game is greatly overlooked, despite issues with art have suprisingly decent story by genre standarts so far)

As a personal suggestion, would be very nice with the different type of NTR the game is And perhaps protagonist type.
- Netorare, Netorase, Netori, not sure if there are any other deviations then ofc. add it!?
- Female protagonist, Male protagonist OR View angle Male/Female/Both.

By the way does this have some sort of manga on dmm? My access to dmm is iffy at best but there seems to be some sort of manga that isn't available in dlsite.

unpopular opinion: him taking 4 years for the Scars of Summer DLC was not worth it at all. The game was disappointing.

No more delays. I will be organizing our GOTY NTR 2024 myself, and for that I count on your help, for that I need the games that were released this year (obviously).

I thought of some categories, send suggestions as soon as possible so that the best ones can be added.
Games here should include netorare, netorase and netori.

-Best RPGM game
-Best VN game
-Best RenPy game
-Best Unity game
-Best Alternative game (other forms of games: html, adrift, etc)

-Best Art Direction (this refers to more than just busty characters)
-Best writing direction
-Best world-building
-Best erotic scenes
-Best corruption
-Best sound direction (moaning, etc).

And the most important:

-Game of the Year NTR 2024

Writing, RPGM and erotic scenes belong to Mind Luda, no competition at all...

It is also pretty hard to collate votes on here. My idea would be to make a message with each category and the possible titles and add emoji to each one, so people vote with the emoji.

So stuff like...

Category of best writing:

Mirages defection
The incredible steal
Azure Orphanage
blablabla

And so on. Each if possible with a hyperlink so people can quickly check what game that actually is.

Also do we let games that were translated this year, thus brought to the attention of most people allow to compete, even if they are older games?
