I was a huge fan of BBQ (the autor/dev) previous work Nebel geisterjäger, i just hope the dev will improve in some departement because Nebel wasn't without problems too : )

I had huge expectations for fallen priestess cause i was big fan of nebel too, but demo of priestess looked very bad, so i have 0 expectetions at this point. It looks like downgrade too, big chanks of art is now ai generated and look shity among other problems that demo had.

Well, the true ending of Sanctuary and Promise is like that, you go back in time to change the ending of you and the heroine, you don't erase what she's been through, but in the end they try to rebuild.
I love these kinds of moments in NTR games, especially the sacrifices.

I guessed as much for Mind Luda as it was released back in February, I think, so people have long forgotten about it or maybe some even think that it's 2023 game. And I personally even wouldn't call it an NTR game as it's FMC game, but yeah... don't wanna trigger any more NTR defining discussions. I just guess you like it the least from their games cause it's FMC game.




I guess to each his own. I agree that the talks about shota-mom relationship as something natural are kind of creepy, but:

- I personally (and many others too I think) prefer consensual and corruption, or NTR Type A if you will, to blackmail, and hypno stuff, cause then it's... snap, and it's done. The reason is there, bestowed upon FMC by a Chad, and... that's it. She either has to comply or turned into a mindless fuckdoll by hypnosis instead of gradually changing, feeling guilty, letting you see her relationship erode. Poor, lazy stuff.

- I can't remember anything consensual like Netorase in NTR Homestay, are you not mistaking it for anything else? It's at the very end I think MC comes home to Danny fucking either his wife alone or having a threesome with her and their daughter.

- I personally quite like MC POVs of their games for the mystery element, if you don't get spoiled in advance, you can constantly be guessing what exactly and why is going on between Chad and FMC (like have they started fucking already or not, or has there been oral or anal already, why and how did everything start). Even though it's much poorer scenes-wise, of course. Usually there are some initially for the buildup, and then it winds down as the game progresses, isn't it? So I wouldn't be able to say actually which POV in their games I like better. And I think prior to Kabe 2 there was no FLOW system and probably no proper female POV, more like some parts of it that became available after you beat MC POV? I can't even tell now if there's female POV in Kanojo no Karada at all, for instance.

- Hm, also, to point it out - you mention that 'Netorase Homestay' game and them concentrating on NTR as in Netorare, right? But they do have these other Netorase (the next game will be Bokudaka 2) and swinging-turning-into-netorare (Kabe no Mukou series) games, and much more from their other studio Anim Mother & Wife if you count it in. And it's the stuff where rape, blackmail or hypnosis are just not applicable, right? Cause e.g. netorase and swinging - when it starts - are usually all about being open and consensual. I don't know if there are any silly plots about getting blackmailed into swinging or hypnotized into sharing your wife out there, haha. Could be something new, though.

There is a middle way though. I dislike hypno stuff too, but blackmail is also a gradual thing that errodes the realtionship. And if its paced right and done well then you will also reach a moment where the antagonist does let the FMC make her own decision and she is already corrupted enough to come back. In many of these stories one could argue that all the FMC needed is a little push to be more honest with her desires, and the corruption is in her crossing more and more moral boundaries, at first with justification and later on without having to justify it anymore, dropping the mask completely.

I didn't think deeply into it but some "mobile phone" have something like that, no? I agree on the premise but disagree on the conclusion.
I've to admit that i think that most ntr enjoyer would probably feel like you; however, i like the fact that the genre has some degree of diversity, like i wanna be able to have a "true love" path if possible.
Each subcategory possess her own niche fanbase and maybe the " "ntr" games where the protagonist is a woman" work because it's borderline NTR, like you play the women so you are somewhat in control, you aren't really the victim.

Personally i think that one of the main interest of the NTR genre is the fact that we don't known and/or control everything and that sometime we aren't sure of what's happening. The mystery behind, the imagination; it's the same narrative spring as in horror movie/show.
Yeah for me, NTR work best as an horror genre.

Or perhaps as a psychological thriller. Mystery used as an element of intrigue is good because it keeps the players on edge about the ensuing circumstances, making us continuously second-guess our actions and the actions of our significant other.

Once the seeds of doubt have been planted, the resulting paranoia makes the build-up much more impactful, until finally, all is revealed to the MC.

It's quite a compelling narrative if executed appropriately. NTR without any proper build-up, intrigue, and/or substance, doesn't make the experience all that more memorable imho.
