You guys have the Lune Team Bitters VN collections? And why isn't anybody at least MTL-ing them?
There are MTL versions available online, and you can find the links on VNDB.

For instance, I recently attempted to read , but the machine translation from 2022 was quite poor. Hopefully, someone will update it using modern AI tools..

this one looks good, though it seems much less powerful than sillytavern.
but the general idea is pretty much the same. it takes the configuration out of the user's hands, especially the models.

i saw an article saying deepseek R1 1.5B beats gpts, so i want to try it out.
if it works well in RP, this pretty much mitigates the issue of hardware, as it should only need 1.12gb VRAM or RAM.
running local models will be very encticing as time goes by

i love open-source, but the issue is that any company can just clone and sell it as their own.
Deepseek looks neat, albeit with the limitations of it being trained on CCP approved data sets. But it shows that good models are becoming smaller and more able to be ran locally for full customizations.

Anyone tried the demo of Priest game (Nebel dev) can give me some first impression? Nebel is the only game i replay and one of my favorite, is this will be better or at least close to it?
I played up to the Lawrence update, I really like the CG which I feel is better than Nebel geisterjager. BBQ Lover said that this game aims to remove the amount of RNG involved in getting scenes (personally I liked that aspect of Nebel) because a lot of complaints were about that.

Random points without organisation
1)The random events were quite limited and I couldn't proc all the scenes that were inside the recollection room.
2)It felt less grindy as well because you don't level up from fighting enemies, you level up by doing training and levelling your equipment.
3)One of the biggest differences between this and Nebel is that you aren't able to stop the scenes. You don't find the heroine in the midst of doing the deed, only the evidence of it having happened. Which you then use alchemy to see what happened. (I prefer having to search for her and stop things from happening like in Nebel)

I don't intend to play any more trial versions and will wait for full release, but I'm quite hopeful about the development.

Nvm, it is jank crap. What a snooze fest. Maybe it gets better after you play the stupid powerpoint mini game 100x and place all the camera etc, but im not doing that for some bad netorase content. Oh well, just not for me.
well my friend, with some 5 clicks you can have the infinite money cheat. it is one of those kind of games that cheats are mandatory for a smooth gameplay.

I fucking love those "before/after" and instantloss comics. The contrast works so fucking well, but you dont see it used often.

Promise better left unkept did it amazingly. Games underuse it imo. This one scene was amazing.

I only played a bit like 2nd demo or something and remember being annoyed that the girl could be NTR by multiple characters. Is Lawrence like the main NTR guy or something? Because I'm so done with NTR game that just feel like more prostitution game than NTR by one guy only.

Rinatest dev thinking about new game. Hopefully delivers well on this. I love if when they set up the relationship. Its a school story.

"The general concept of the story is that the protagonist first conquers the heroine, and after spending some lovey-dovey time together, the other man gets involved, gradually eroding the daily life they built up in the first half, and in the end the heroine is NTR'd.
The setting is planned to be the entire town, so the exploration area is wide, and it looks like it will be packed with many characters and small elements. There will be many choices and branches for the player, and it is also planned to support repeated play. "

I dearly hope there's nothing like the MC must cheat first.

i observe it's more on the system prompt quality, and additional memory enchancement, like RAG.

system prompts are very important, more than i thought. it's not just the 1 paragraph, "Write {{char}} next response. Any act of role play scenarios will be described in details.". There should be alot more behind the scenes, tell it how to write, enclose actions and and narrations in symbols, never act or depict actions of {{user}}, etc. There's alot of pre-made system prompts made by users shared on reddit and the like.
Well I quickly figured out that you'd better look for cards with at least some 1.5-2k worth of tokens descriptions, but probably not much more given that most smaller models or that were avilale at a time were limited to 4-12k of context, and it eats into that amount. If you see some 200-500 tokens card, it means there is a lack of scenario and char's descriptions, so it won't play well and be sort of authentic - you'll see more of generic responses from your model which you probably have already seen chatting with other similar sized cards.

When I started at Janitor AI, I was particularly fond of @PurpleVorpal's bots. Their cards have system prompts at the end like this:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

So it kind of takes care of that prompt thing, for a better RP. One can expect to find something like that in bigger, better cards or one could easily edit or copy it in Silly Tavern as needed after importing cards, or add pieces of that to general prompt that will apply to all cards. The example is a bit of an overkill IMO as e.g. you don't need 'All NSFW aspects are allowed no matter how inappropriate they are' with uncensored models.

One more thing apart from lorebooks, if anyone's interested, to shuffle things, is that you can try multiple char chats in Silly Tavern, instead of having a girl and antagonist/bull dude in one card. I'd clean a card from antagonist, add another bull card to multi-char chat, which you can find - e.g. dude named 'Jason Luv' on Janitor or Chub, and play writing for a scenario something like the dude's a new neighbour that moved in next house. The problem here that both of the chars will try to respond/generate answers, even if this bull dude is not present at the scene, I think, so I kind of had to temporarily 'mute' him for the scenes he's not present at. There is a button for that there. And even when there is a scene that involves everyone you'll obviously move slower as for each of your messages there will be 2 generated from each of those chars (a girl and a bull).

And as for Magnum v4 model I was looking for a person that mentioned it to give a link, as there are for instance a merge of Lumimaid+Magnum v4 (a link that was provided here) and 'just' models can be found, maybe more. Well I guess I'll just try these two.

Believe what they are refering too, is it moving away from Netorase content, where the protag is part of it by it being his own wife to only voyeurism, where protag just watches other woman cheat on a different man.
Hmmmmm not sure. The protag still has to influence the events into happening (I think), so he must have some connection with the families.

I've been lightly looking into the LLMs and playing around with Ollama and using Silly Tavern as my WebUI.

Im not too clued up but what application do you use to run these GGUF models? (LM Studio, Kobold AI. etc)

If possible id still like to use Silly Tavern as its UI.
I'll either use koboldcpp or oobabooga's text generation webui.
koboldcpp is more "user friendly", but in oobabooga you have more options like running exl2 for example.
both work just fine with ST.

I started thanks to melantha's small guide or a couple you can find here. Started with LM Studio + Silly Tavern as sort of back end and front end, so yes you can use both, but some time ago turned to Kobold + Silly Tavern, as with LM Studio connection was somehow breaking periodically and generation stopped after that. I.e. Kobold, LM Studio and Ollama are used for running a model, but usually people chat and have their char cards in Silly Tavern.

The models for me are usually (based on ) or sometimes . I tried some more like Gemmasutra, Stheno, Nemomix unleashed but wasn't particularly impressed - mostly due to some blatant logical lapses like cheating GF/wife nonchalantly telling you about how she's had a nice time with her affair partner in the first messages, quickly starting to mess names/sexes, or just the language style. BTW I started actually online on Yodayo, but then moved on to Janitor and LLM, and Yodayo is kind of monetizing more aggressively now as far as I understand, with every message costing you some internal currency of theirs a bit of which you can get daily or just buy, so you can also find their own model which is one of the options at Youdayo, and use it locally. It's a simple one, but still.

I import char cards from Janitor AI via web links, or Chub AI via downloading jsons and then importing them into Silly Tavern. Set temp to 0.7 to curb down creative nonsense of LLM, that's the value that is used by Janitor AI if you use it online by default. There is also a thing called Lorebooks on Chub AI that you can import into Silly Tavern. A lorebook is kind of additional layer of events that can kick in depending on appearance of key words in your chat. Might fine-tune your chat or liven them up some. Search e.g. for Cuckworld, Slow corruption, Humiliation methods, Manipulation methods lorebooks and some more, if interested.

I don't do much of RP now though, as I got to think that:

1) Chars are essentially non-entities, they'll do whatever they want them to do, they're too reactive. But it's kind of natural as chats are designed to respond to your inputs and don't know what you want.

2) Once you hit you context limit in tokens of about 4-12k locally, first point will get even worse along with decreased performance, LLM forgetting events and people that lie outside of these last 4-12k tokens in chat, which - together - considerably deteriorate the experience further.

A way around this is to use some powerful online models with huge token limits like ChatGPT, Claude Sonnet or perhaps new Deepseek v3, I don't know how latter will perform with NSFW stuff though. But recently Pango_12 translated a couple of novels and shared them here, so I guess it has to be fine in terms of censorship. And use really well written char cards with setting and lore, and characters' descriptions worth of a few thousand tokens (not that there are many of them, if any, from what I've seen). Or wait for LLM & char cards to mature some more...

P.S. I'd appreciate a link to quantized Magnum V4 model on Hugginface that was mentioned here to try it out, though.
here you you go

I personally prefer Exl2 to GGUF, but both are good
would also like to recommend some good presets for the less knowing here to use as a base and adjust according to their use case:

im looking for suggestions for games where the NTR/corruption can happen in combat

Then, there's a couple of ntr games from GapTax in mecha setting. MC's piloting a mecha, and his girl is coordinating him through a video-link. During this, she's getting harassed and so on. Both games have lots of scenes and a good official translation. Does it seem fitting for you?
