can we first get the hostility against AI tempered down?

at this point it's becoming a venn diagram with so many overlaps i dont want to point at AI being point of contention.

i've seen other devs paywall AI content that players are happy to fork money over. NTR phone does the exact same thing with patreon code. other games paywall updates for limited times like BtW, Netorase Phone, etc.

non-game AI artists now also have content paywalled on patreon. e.g. despite having twitters with free AI content.

as far as I read into it, it just seemed like the paywall was as just egregiously restricting, considering the early phase of development?

but damn, the dev took this personally.
i'm feeling second hand embarrassment and cringe. damn.
the other dev was unmistakable just sincere.

i hope they do better and improve on the paywall implementation.
sometimes you just need a wakeup call.
I personally will never tone down my hostility towards AI. It's already stolen art to begin with and most of these AI game "developers" do not develop anything other than ways to make $$$.

Well maybe if they stop stealing arts and for once put in the effort by making their own then there'd be no hostility in the first place? Idk just a thought  If the AI cg is just copying official anime design maybe I can get behind with but otherwise they don't earn my respect.

Aren't they all? Want to make make money on the time and efforts they invest into game developing. One thing though if it's a good game that's worthy of support and the other if it's yet another phone game with few pics of buttons & phone you create one time and they stay, few AI generated adult pics sprinkled with a bunch of messages in exchange for a certain amount of money going your way every month.

I wasn't against AI art before if it's a good one like in Mila AI, but thinking of it now the impact of it is questionnable going forward. It's probably contributed to pandemic of phone games, and together with these games' limited nature (always contemporary slice of life setting, it's just a phone which feels like a part of life and all possible interactions that should be happening between people like it's depicted in usual VNs, always a medium, usually a friend of your girlfriend who'd exchange messages with you and send pics of her infidelity - sometimes it's cameras; she wouldn't herself send you pics of taking dicks behind your back over the phone, right? etc.) often it's difficult to distinguish them from one another; one can get a sort of deja vu feeling.

Overall it can go in direction of usual gaming/upscalers - the expectations were that more people would have access to new games supporting technology, and maybe it'll give devs more room to concentrate on other things like story and gameplay instead of optimization a bit. Now devs decided to just cut their time/costs and give you rather mediocre games with shitty optimization and shitty graphics looking worse than 5yo games and running in 30-40fps on mid market cards that didn't exist 5 years ago, or even 3 years ago.

So with AI art it's not necessary the games will stay the same or get better; AI lowers the barrrier to become a dev - don't need to be an artist, no need to splash money on one, just learn to code a bit in Ren'py engine and here you go - yet anoter phone game v0.1 is almost ready. The barrier is lower, the quality of devs entering the field too as more of them enter the industry. Or the amount of effort the're willing to spend gets lower, all other things being equal. I.e. pre-AI it was more difficult or costly to start developing a game so theoretically the devs entering the field were probably more passionate, hardworking and motivated to see their projects through?

In any case, imagining we'll move in the direction of AI taking over completely (i.e. there will be no games with scenes done by artists, only AI slop left) - nothing good here, obviously. Now art can be better or worse, depending on the artist, but it's nice and stimulating, so to speak, to have variety. Some people love one artists/devs more, some love others. With AI taking over - theoretically - it'll be the same bland slop all over, people will be desensitized to it. And the balance, market share so to speak shift in favor of AI - i.e. it's getting more and more widely used. Can't help it - it's cheaper. The market's invisible hand.

personally, i'd still choose to let those alleged slop games exist.
they don't force us to play the games.
we still decide for ourselves which games to pay and play, and where to spend our time.

like a new mine discovered, there will be useless rocks, but once in a while, you get gems.
dont let the rocks hurt you

the same way unity lowered the barrier for programming
then unity was looked upon as the slop compare to unreal engine which was used by professionals.

these things happen, not just with the appearane of machines.
even within those engines and toolkits, new releases always lower barrier to entry.
it never stopped the industry.
the same logic applies, just dont play the slops. there will be lots of gems out there.

Sir, you are literally on a website where we download games for free instead of buying them...
Edit: I don't like the look of a lot of AI art, so that might make a better argument instead of trying to white knight developers and artists earning money on a dubious website.

Fellow depraved brothers and sisters: what is the best ntr game of all time, in your opinion? And why? (All engines are valid: rpg, VNs, SLG, unity games etc).

I saw a thread like this on /h/ and thought it was an interesting discussion. I have 3 or 4 names that pop up in my head as the "best" ones since they really stuck with me (or made me cum buckets/feel soulless afterwards), but I wanna hear some opinions on it. If you just wanna share your most intense experience with a certain game, feel free to do so as well.
NTRPG2. It's an amazing NTR game that does many things right:

It builds up the relationship with the girl very well. If you didn't know that it was an NTR game, you'd probably think it was a vanilla game.

The NTR when it happens, is so swift, shocking and abrupt that not only is the protagonist shocked but the player is as well.

The sound effects are amazing. The moaning and the creaking of the bed combined with the great pixel art animations make the sex scenes intense and memorable.

The music is also great. Here is one of the soundtracks: .

Also the girl doesn't undergo a sudden and severe personality change. She still likes the protagonist even though she's being sexed by the antagonist.

The difference between the protagonist and antagonist is also emphasized and it is readily apparent how much better at everything the antagonist is whether that's strength, dick size, sexual stamina etc.

I still consider it to be the gold standard of the NTR genre.

It has also inspired multiple other NTR games and authors.
There was even a blog written about it: .

Anybody know any good NTR corruption (not VN) games where she gets more slutty clothes, piercings, tattoos and stuff like that as she gets more NTR'd? Trials of Lust was supposed to have it but it was cut out at the last minute.

Navigating the rift comes to mind, but that one is abandoned.

hmm the ones I remember some of the (Orenohut) games, same with (Rain shelter frog) a lot of the games where there are 2 girls have that, usually the one girl you choose to ignore gets the visual change. if i just was not horrible with remembering games. I just play the games and froget about them lol. also the names are quite generic. I just remember it was a blonde wizard and a pink haired warior. but cant remember well if they get outfit changes.

People will complain about ai being stolen art then play a game with the same stolen rpgm assets that are in 500 other games, lol. On a piracy site no less, lol.
Stolen? Always thought it was part of the rpgmaker "kit". At least on steam it had a lot of dlc with sprites etc.

So not stolen, just stock.

For me I can live with AI, if its done well. Like Mila AI. A lot of it is just very sloppily done, which makes them all have that "look" that makes them appear very samey. Also the AI art should generally make a game dev time be shorter, right? But from what I have seen, a lot of AI art games are astoundingly slow to develop for some reason. And then they dont even have that many images. I can take quantity over quality at certain points, but for some reason the quantity is not there.

i finished playing Boku ni Dakare Aegu Tsuma wa from Animm. and I can say that it is quite the good Netorase story. I was about to be done with Animm after playing the recent shota one. but this one turned me around, I would put it above the muscle guy stories.

the characters are all interesting, their conversations are brief enough, the scenes are interesting in both perspectives both reading the guy's thoughts and the woman's thoughts was quite pleasant, the dialogs felt natural to a point that for the frist time i was not sure if the wife was being honest or not.

both Pov were handles masterfully the male had plenty of scenes, but they were cut early or started after somehting happened keeping you guessing, you could see what happened on the women's side. even some male scenes that were not fun were cut in favor of doing a longer version from the female PoV so certain conversations were short on his side while they were longer on hers. first time i enjoy playing all the routes in an Animm game.

also the story is not a tragedy wich is quite refreshing for a netorase story, I am not a fan of them because usually the male is portrayed as a useless buffoon or a guy that is irrelevant to the story. in this one he is an active character with thoughts ideas and actions of his own.

I feel like looking at the creddits for the writer's and directors name see what other of Animm's works they have worked on.
if you like netorase you may enjoy it , i am not a fan of netorase but enjoyed this one.

Yeah pretty sure most of the maps that Devs use are usually stock or extra mods that people willingly upload. Not really stolen. Some Devs make their own.
