"Oh no you saw me kiss my boyfriend at work, now I have to suck your dick in public". Its almost always flimsy as shit blackmail too. Rape works a little better since the "dick so good" angle has some logic to it. However, games that resort to doing that right away almost always have the girl whoring out to dozens of guys right away.

I think most people hate those methods because it's used so often as a shortcut in boring slop.

I think a lot of this trope comes from hentai manga, unfortunately the medium doesn't allow for much planned build up (without a LOT of effort) so the writers take lazy shortcuts to get to the "good bits" without realising the good bits include the build up.

Incidentally, Grapara! is a really solid counter example, lots of juicy backstory leading up to the heroine's fall (the main heroine at least).

I've tried a bit with the game but drop quickly. You can pass the day and if you didn't see the "!" on the map nothing happen. The date go on but if you do see the "!", it's just the one you haven't see. The event aren't even base on the date so why having a date system in the first place? Why having a the capacity to team up with girl?
Yeah it's shame, i don't understand the logic here...

it is a copy of the summer game that was popular a while ago. it used all the mechanics that were unused here. thought in my opinion the game mechanics were not as good there as well. but at least on that it is worth playing for the world map events and the scenes are hot as well.

Playing Nebel Geisterjager atm and while the game and art is impressive compared to most RPGM fare, the NTR is pretty disappointing. More of the typical forced harrassment deal where the girl finally comes around to enjoying it after being groped and manhandled for the 100th time. Would be so much hotter if she had done it willingly after some slow and steady corruption.

I respect your opinion and Im always for different routes but imma be honest, the girls being corrupted and doing stuff willingly is kind of a turnoff. At least in the beginning. For me personally, what I need in a NTR story is that the beginning of the NTR is not initiated by the girl being morally corrupt or a nymphomaniac or tempted or naive or stupid. Because as soon as you have that it was the choice of the girl alone (or in the latter case she just has no brain), from the get-go, so it doesn't really hit as hard for me cause then she belong to the streets.
