Because rarely is something on DLsite truly less than a three. I’ve played many NTR there and haven’t met one that was a complete waste of time.

And DLsite DOES have some rules against AI slop, whereas F95 is completely overrun when it comes to AI. Just look at the latest NTR releases on F95. Virtually all AI/3D slop because no one is curating worth a damn.

But you don't need to take my word for it. Just have a look yourself at the latest releases for each site. IDK about others, but I’m taking DLsite everyday. Sure, it's a bit amateurish, but shit’s got soul and actual work put into it.

DLsite (virtually all hand-drawn):

Only one hand-drawn game, yikes. Simply put, if the developer isn’t putting effort in their games, I’m not spending time playing their game either. (For the record, the "story" in many AI games is even worse than the art.)
Yikes, more like cheap cash grabs what most of these devs see using AI. I don't hate AI just i hate it when its put in a lazy game, story goes no where.

DLSite is the same if not worse. Just on the opposite side. If F95 is too picky, DLsite users are far too lenient. I am not sure if it’s because of how Japan’s culture never really adopted the “customer is always right” mindset like the west did, but they refuse to give anything below a 3, even the most absolute of garbage.

In F95zone, you occasionally will find a hidden gem among the trash that was obscured due to reviews sure, but in DLsite the review/rating system is completely inflated and can’t even be used anymore.

Like for some context: on the latest release page for games with the NTR tag, of the 30 on the first page, 20 are 4.5 or higher. With most of the remaining ten being 4 stars. Like what’s the point anymore if Scars of Summer, Leanne 2, and other acclaimed games have to share the same rating as typical RPGM slop, some of which are even AI!
You need to learn to read dlsite reviews. Above 4.8 is usually peak. 4.6-4.8 is really good. 4.5-4.6 is okay, probably good. Below 4.5 you start getting meh games. Below 4 you get trash. Below 3.5 you get absolute trash games. Below 3 you are probably downloading a virus.

I only care about AI if it's really good, there are some that are good... But it needs to improve a lot in the story and in the game, there's no point in having CGs. I see a lot of potential in Yoshizou888, however, he's made games that I don't like the hypnotism features, but he said he'll make a slow corruption game one day.

There's this NTR game with great potential to come out in the second quarter of 2025, and it's about Idol, you can walk around the office and so on, it looks very promising, it would be good if there were more games like this.

Man that game might have the best prologue setup for ntr ever. And then it feels so squandered with the protagonist switch.

Sigh, so damn close to absolute greatness.

For a moment I thought it was something from Koikatsu, but I saw that you could walk around the map and everything, haha. Good thing there will be more games like this in the future, with animations and etc. It's a lot of work but it's slowly evolving.

I've been thinking of coming up with a rules-based game to play on / with ChatGPT, to see how well it can execute and keep up. I'm not on a NTR binge at the moment, so if someone has ideas they'd like to see implemented in a text-based, turn-based, gameplay-driven NTR game with the AI playing as the LI / stealer, feel free to tell me and I may try to implement it in the game.

Decided to replay sanctuary of broken promises since I last played it on release with shitty mtl. And gotta say that knowing the protag change is coming, I enjoyed it much more than before. I was a bit salty about the change and didnt enjoy the second half first time through, and while I still see a lot of wasted potential, in the end its a really good game.

Especially the beginning. I think every good ntr game should have like 1-2 hours to setup the characters relationship. Each ntr that wants to go deep should have the most cliche vanilla story for the first few hours. But sadly that is not what sells, since a lot of people want to boot up the game and have sexy times NOW.

A good heartfelt vanilla beginning is like force multiplier for any scene that comes after. Some games like curse of kubel pepper the vanilla moments throughout the game when the corruption already started and while its better than nothing, it just doesnt hit the same.

That's what I loved about My Girlfriend is a Blue Collar Worker, despite my other problems with it. Those scenes with Misaki at the shop-stand really tugged at the heartstrings at times. God, do I wish they'd kept that game more linear than they did.

Yeah I feel like pretty much all ntr that people here put as absolute goats have long and well done vanilla prologues. And those that dont would have been even better if they did.

Its been a long time since an ntr prologue managed to make me invested in the vanilla relationship. Its rarer and rarer sadly.
