Anyone got good recommendations for games with village's custom theme? Similar example is Kakuriyo Village [I'm moralist], where the MC and his gf live in a small community with strict customs, when the time comes the girl will be taken away and there is pretty much nothing the MC can do because of the village/communitu rules

This kind of stories kinda make me sad when FMC just accepts unfair conditions and that's it. It's hard to be a hard empath when there are plenty of stories where FMCs are reduced to a fucktoys and this being an end of story. I honestly had a small hope she would snap at the end and burn entire village. I'm no hater to corruption but it stops being enjoyable for me when female characters accept being treated like their purpose is only to be fucked.

Maybe, but I prefer it in moderation rather than extreme cases. I love it when FMC doesn't lose her sense of dignity at least. I guess it's more about me hating on heroines willingly whoring themselves out.

I think you are getting a view skewed by the fact that it is a pornographic doujinshi. if you read between the lines you can see that she is the sole provider of her family. that she is alone in a foreign town, and despite that she is in a better condition than she was in her previous life. that combined with her coming from a monogamous culture. is bearing down heavy on her, because she is basically what her previous culture would probably deem a sort of prostitute. the tragedy is on the fact that she has to throw her values away (monogamy and only kissing your lover), and that she has to live off of people's charity. (the dress hand down she explicitly say she felt bad in denying) I think the end is not her accepting to become a cumdump. is just her abandoning her previous morals to fit in the town. kind of giving up on trying for a better life. and using the big dick guy as some form of consolation from the stress of her new life.

remember she is not the village cumdump. every woman in the village is shared. she is just the new girl and is probably being affected by the novelty.
these sort of nuances are why i like these non standard NTR. and you can clearly point at the pannels that show the development of the character.

• did not know about new village custom.
• husband is sickly, mother is old.
• denied the kiss as some form of emotional monogamy.
• tried to reject hand downs but could not.
• willingly searched for bigdick the second time, because of piled up frustrations.
• stopped rejecting the village culture.

meanwhile most ntr is.

• girl is pretty.
• bad guy has big dick.
• big dick perform a lobotomy trough her vagina, changing her whole personality.

I like it when everything gets thoroughly trampled. If she was full of dignity, she should have none by the end of corruption. As others replied, it IS very important how you get there. You need to sell/execute it well to actually have it make sense without completely destroying your suspension of disbelief.

I think a lot of dislike for this utter dignity loss and letting everyone do whatever, is that it has become a pretty overused trope, especially by people who rush corruption. So it might be dislike by association, because those stories are usually crap.

Because 90%+ of NTR is “fast-food” NTR that largely ignores the downfall part. People’s attention spans aren’t what they used to be.
Just go to any “slow-NTR” game, you can almost always bet on finding a smattering of complaints about how "it takes hours to get to the “good stuff” (sex).

This is evident in the fact that some people regard Terasu MC as the “king of NTR,” despite the fact that the majority of his stories take place after the corruption is already done. No build-up, story starts with girl already banging the bull.

You compare NTR stories 10, 20 years back and NTR stories now, it’s pretty obvious this generation is cooked when it comes to long-form reading.

Cheating (+ lots of sex scenes) is prized more than the traditional elements of corruption (blackmailing, insecurity, jealousy). Of course, there’s also the fact that writing about the corruption of a pure girl is much, much harder than writing about a debased slut (with a few throwaway lines to her past self).

I can see why writers opt for the quick and easy route when it comes to NTR, but it does lead to a serious lack of variety in modern NTR. Which is why we’re all here waiting for doujin DLsite releases to see if there’s any gold left.

Yes, this is where a developer like VENUS really excels at with the writing and coming up with an at-least more convincing and thought-out logic behind the corruption and why the girl gives in than just instantly dickmatized. It also hits harder when you see the pure romance between the main couple beforehand and then how that is being trampled on behind MC's back, and the eventual contrast by the end. That recipe is being lost and now it's mostly instant gratification lazy slop NTR that lacks the buildup which can make it hit that much harder.

Good build up and character work is important but there's some that follow this but it ends up just blue balling you or ending right when the corruption starts and you don't get to sit with it for a while. I think a blend of the 2 styles is what makes a good NTR

Personally I haven't gotten bored after years of being into the genre but maybe try not reading/playing from the genre for a bit and go to something and see if your interest in it comes back

My advice would be to take a break.

I often switch between different genres, and avoid engaging in the same media consecutively, unless really in the mood for it. Chocolate is the only thing I enjoy regularly, for everything else I have to pace myself, or it starts to feel like a chore.

pretty much numb to NTR now majority of them story or characters suck, girl falls to easy,etc. I only play them for sex scenes. I could play vanilla games, I still like hidden aspect or silhouette scenes i guess.

This is really just a shill post for anyone interested in Summer Stolen Paradise.
If you haven't heard of my game, you can read the quoted post above but I'm also here to say that,

1. The free version of 0.30 is out and it has a completed route with content equivalent (I dare say) to a doujin one antagonist game. If you heard of it and wanted to wait for the route to finish before jumping in, I'm pushing it again.

2. The paid/Patreon version now has the beach route (another route) that is different from the Bakery route if you want to give it a go or if the Bakery wasn't your thing. It's pretty fun with new animations and an interesting minigame.

3. This is a NTR Game in an NTR thread. Reviews that misunderstand the game hurt my feelings so I'll even say that this game requires you to want to read to fully immerse yourself in the NTR aspect.
