Because 90%+ of NTR is “fast-food” NTR that largely ignores the downfall part. People’s attention spans aren’t what they used to be.
Just go to any “slow-NTR” game, you can almost always bet on finding a smattering of complaints about how "it takes hours to get to the “good stuff” (sex).

This is evident in the fact that some people regard Terasu MC as the “king of NTR,” despite the fact that the majority of his stories take place after the corruption is already done. No build-up, story starts with girl already banging the bull.

You compare NTR stories 10, 20 years back and NTR stories now, it’s pretty obvious this generation is cooked when it comes to long-form reading.

Cheating (+ lots of sex scenes) is prized more than the traditional elements of corruption (blackmailing, insecurity, jealousy). Of course, there’s also the fact that writing about the corruption of a pure girl is much, much harder than writing about a debased slut (with a few throwaway lines to her past self).

I can see why writers opt for the quick and easy route when it comes to NTR, but it does lead to a serious lack of variety in modern NTR. Which is why we’re all here waiting for doujin DLsite releases to see if there’s any gold left.

Well Terasu is one of those artists where the art kinda overshadows most downsides.

I played it, I can say that the game has good programing, and the writing is acceptable. (i do not know anything about rent a girlfriend) I am watching the thread but as of now it has barely any content. but like i said, good programing, the animations where smooth, the situations were not that ilogical and you get to have sex with the main girl. wich is hardly seen in most NTR.

What do you guys do when you start to lose interest in NTR? recently i just don't find any interest in playing new NTR games or read doujins, it's just kinda boring.

I do vanilla, Yaoi, harems. to be honest at this point I am more interested in weird stories. for example one of the reasons that I do not read much tentacle doujins is because they are all rape. but if you show me a weird one that is not about rape I am reading that in a heartbeat.

I understood I was getting desperate once I started giving an AI cg games a try. Now I'm kinda laying low and playing some non-H games while still following some ongoing game updates. Similar example is Kakuriyo Village [I'm moralist], where the MC and his gf live in a small community with strict customs, when the time comes the girl will be taken away and there is pretty much nothing the MC can do because of the village/communitu rules

Like all the rest of the people said here, do other stuff and take a break from NTR.
Better yet, reset yourself by not playing/consuming any porn. Just to take a break from everything. Even just a couple of days / 1 week will make a huge difference.
That's what I do when I get bored of everything, not only just NTR.
But for real, there's no good NTR games nowadays, so it's hard to get excited for something that's going to come soon too. Maybe that also affects you and makes you bored of it.

previous game was pretty bad, i didn't like it, anything better then that first game is improvement. Not sure this will be great i love murder mystery aspect of it, but its mostly going be just corruption and blackmail especially the ugly guy in title is all blackmail to get close to the girl, and he goes after the mother as well what we saw in the demo.
