You're right. I thought I didn't have to since if you click my signature it leads you to the thread, but I might make it more easy to get there
Signatures kinda have the "ad" effect on me. I just tune out the fact they are even there 90% of the time.

If this is the wrong thread to post this then my apologies please point me in the right direction: I am working on my own game but struggling a little to write the dialogue + character work and making that and the general plot stand out to avoid blandness. Any tips?

  • Clichés aren’t the enemy. They exist because they work. Because people love them. Just flip the angle - give the trope a kink, a twist of motive, a clash of tone - and suddenly it’s yours and feels fresh.
  • Voice > plot. Make characters distinct enough that if you stripped names out, you’d still know who’s speaking. Rhythm, choice of words, patterns of thought.
  • Conflict fuels chemistry. Characters are interesting when they want different things. That friction keeps scenes alive.
  • Learn from the best. Look at the popular games that you like yourself, compare them, and take a lesson.

  • Henteria Chronicles Ch. 3: The Peacekeepers is outright the best for my tastes. No fighting/grinding, lots of hot, well-written events, lots of small events with npc to look at.
It's a like a vn, but better - tbh, I find reading all the walls of text in the vns a bit tiresome. Not because I don't like reading, quite the contrary - but because the very reading in the vn format is not that pleasant - I kinda prefer reading actual novels.
Anyway, It's difficult to compare HC3 with any other ntr games in terms of getting immersed in. And it's definitely better than HC1 and HC2 in regard to the writing and hotness - though they're fine too.
What's your best route in HC3? I dropped the game a few years ago for the same common reasons people quit JRPGs, and I didn't enjoy most routes (at least their beginnings) and some of the game's mechanics enough to consider playing through it again.

I could never get into HC properly because the antagonists are usually doing so evil things that I just want them to get offed asap and the only decent ending is the revenge one but that one also feels like a no-winners ending tbh

You just described most ntr antagonists though.

He's doing the end scenes rn but iirc he still need to make some side ones
Is this going to be like the biggest NTR RPG ever created? I feel like he keeps pumping out the content yet the game's never finished

Sister_2B_5.jpeg

The Priestess step-mum route was undoubtedly my favourite. I'm a huge fan of both the 'corrupting the priestess' and mother-NTR tropes, and it nailed both. The sub-plot involving the bull blackmailing and corrupting the second, straight-laced priestess was also a brilliant touch.

The other three heroines didn't grab me as much. The fake princess - and I usually love a royal piece - just didn't have the right regal vibe for me. The fake loli and fake sister also fell a bit flat; for example, I'd have preferred the sister to be more strong-willed instead of breaking so easily. The creator definitely put too much of twists on the classic tropes I generaly like (princess, waitress, knightess/policewoman, older sis-NTR), and while it maybe made them feel alive and realistic, it wasn't the direction I personally enjoy.

But maybe the reason boils down to just this - I got the feeling the priestess’s mom was probably the most strong-willed outta all the heroines.

Don't get me wrong, though - their scenes are undeniably well-written and hot, so it's still a compelling read.

Ooh Dissonance is new to me but I meant more of traditional Japanese NTR "greats" like kuripick's games. Also for Azienda, I didnt like any of his games after the mother one(but thats just a me problem). His games are fantastic otherwise.
Hmm, I can understand that. Rina test was pretty good, but it didn't have any CGs.
I feel like NTR game development was at it's peak during covid. We need another one.
Trvke. They all probably went to their respective jobs, and lost all the motivation to make NTR games. That's why even NTRMAN has fallen into oblivion.

I reckon that there's a few good ones still in development.
But as you say, it's been a while since we had a finished masterpiece.

Bro, i have never talked about HC3 in this thread before (outside of like game suggestions or whatever) cause there's a dedicated thread for it, but i'm telling y'all, this new update that was released today...holy fucking shit, this game is singlehandedly carrying NTR on it's back this year, if no other NTR games came out for the rest of 2025 i'd be more than fine after what i played today.

I don't know whose post i saw the other day that said that they can't get into the game because they can't stand the antagonists, but if you're seeing this my guy, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing this game if you like the NTR genre. Holy cinema.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended, but even though I selected the MC's POV only, the game continues to show me events that occurred when the MC wasn't around.
