I literally specified the reasons I think the story is garbage, I was not angry playing at all, what the fuck hahhahaha
NTRPG 2 actually got under my skin when I played it years ago for example, this doesn't even compare, not even 10%

What make me like ntr? schadenfreude and what was my first ntr game....
maybe school days (well if you count all the swinging and shit that happens in a lot of its routes....) now that i think about it we need more stories where the boyfriend/husband is stolengood ntr story... dude the sense of loss in that game is minimal yeah the ub is an arsehole and imo kinda stupid that the dead husband spirit is so attached like dude you are dead you can't expect your wife to be faithful to your memory until she dies lol, a fresh air yeah definitely story that gets under your skin hmmm not really

IMO the several contradicting feelings that's a lot more complex to digest normally after viewing it was why I liked the NTR genre, and a fan of more bittersweet tragedy genres. I think my first few kdramas was like Secret Garden or Empress Ki, which could probably why I gravitate towards these genres. My first NTR exposure was Otome Dori; I felt so disgusted, but her tits was so majestically animated...I couldn't help myself

Hentai during that era had better studios and that didn't help at all and I just delved myself deeper.As for NTR games specifically I'm still a newbie since RPGM and VNs feels super generic and tedious, but the unique minigames is what usually keeps me around. I started with playing SAO2, and got hooked to other games ever since.
Considering in the demo at least you have to deliberately choose obviously bad options to get any NTR (rather than say, failing to be productive with your day or something else you could conceivably fail at inadvertently), I'm not exactly holding my breath for some sort of revolution in NTR games.
This is quite common for Japanese people to postpone games, Scars of Summers After was postponed a lot and came out as a good game.
I mean, he took like 50 years to release that garbage DLC so this is not positive at all.

New NTR idol game
this what i felt, i like mystery aspect id like for MC to find out who killed his uncle or guardian figure. Seriously NTR in demo is just bad options your character does, so if u stay in safe and narrow and get all the clues the game can get very boring.

Man I hate that with a burning passion. Immediately the game turns into netorase.
It really made me go oh come on too once I realized that's how it was. I expected it to be tied to who you talk to and whether or not you actually manage to get anything done during the day. I mean, why else would there be a time of day system if not to serve the NTR aspect?
But nah. It was such a disappointment to realize it literally came down to a binary choice between doing a bad deed vs. not.

for me, it was NTR Homestay about 2 years ago, played that and the heady mixture of anticipation with a pit in my stomach doing the Mystery POV of the husband/father was so intoxicating, I was hooked. I also went down the oyakodon route (both your wife and daughter get stolen by bull) so the betrayal hit even more. The reveal scene in that game is still etched in my mind, because it's so hard-hitting for the MC lol.
Also, I happen to be playing Scars of Summer right now, I love it! the route I chose is Oyama, I personally love ugly bastard stuff, so seeing Ryoka slowly give way to him is pretty hot. What was your fave route? Hoping the content in After is good as well, I'll take what I can get
