What makes for the best antagonist in your opinion? This starting relationship is imo maybe even more important than developing the relationship of MC and heroine. I think about it in terms of relationship to MC/heroine. Here are some basic possibilities I remember seeing:
1) He is absolutely hated by both. He is a horrible human being and they let him know it (usually ugly bastard) (the main antagonists in this game for example sanctuary of promises )

2) He is hated by MC, only by proxy with heroine (which is easily swayed away). This is usually antagonist bullying MC (mother NTR usually) - Netorare milf natsuko

3) He is well liked by everyone around. Pretty much a paragon, good at everything. May or may not be an asshole in private. But both MC and heroine like him at start. I think Reborn Island sorta fits? I havent played too much of it but felt to me that way

4) He is pitied by heroine/MC - some pathetic person down on their luck, ends up taking advantage of heroine. Like the hobo in scars of summer

5) Liked by MC, hated by heroine - asshole best friend of MC ( I think I played some games like that, but nothing specific comes to mind)

For me its number one by a long shot. Maybe its because I am a big fan of corruption, but having a character go from being loathed and hated to being completely in control of the heroine makes for the longest and most satisfying journey.

I think for me, the best is a combo of 1 & 3 where the antagonist manages to (mostly) win/bribe the hearts of the people around him, but the MC and FMC have very good reason to not trust him, or be outright hostile to him. When the FMC reveals that she has in the end "fallen to the cult"... its a type of corruption I love to see in NTR hentai and wish there was more of.

Yea we got much more content, yea some people just drag n drops workflows and produces similar outputs. But in the end, this is more content, right ? I see AI as an extra for more content. Just dodge/ignore bad outputs, as u said u can easily recognize it. Maybe this is enough, recognize bad AI, accept that it can offer good stuffs such as NTR Felare when the creator does it properly. I see it as something good. And for the realistic reaching real stuff, it is another subject and since i don't really care about it if it doesn't hurt people i wont comment this.

As for AI slop. There is Daz3D slop, there is shitty art slop. In the end, it still comes down to how much dev puts his time in. I see AI art as a new engine for porn games and a tool that might help me.

the development was never finished and the dev has been gone for a bit over a year.
so yeah, unless we get a miracle, we're never seeing this game drop. which is a shame because the art and the mystery looked amazing. if i had to give a prediction, the game would've def been on par with big breast party ntr

Since i don't really know what is a soul, i will answer for the "style", took me 5 months to reach my actual lvl over txt2img and editing it to have outputs which fit my "tastes", might be what u call "soul". It usually take me 45mins-1h30 for making a 15-25 pictures sets. such as the last shared sets on my pixiv. I like the results, it cannot be reproduced, and people which are now following me also likes them. So i just like it and share it to people who can enjoy it. And i know that some of them are similar as the guy i was 10 years ago, and being able to offer this is something i like.

AI doesnt use that much energy to actually generate stuff. I mean its not zero, but if it was REALLY heavy, I wouldnt be able to generate a ton of stuff on an offline model on my home rig.

What it does use up a lot of energy on is training the models. Now you may say it comes hand in hand, but its a pretty big difference. The model is already trained, so let grandma generate her mugs. And a lot of the better models are actually paid for. Maybe not enough, but its an investment since more usage = more training.

Idk this dev, what makes his games good?

Is it just me, or does their new game look functionally identical to the last one? We're seeing the same mechanics, the same premise, and what looks like the same heroine. With nothing meaningfully new, I have to wonder, why are you guys like it lol

I think there is a natural filter in choosing to use AI for a game. You never 'needed' to be able to draw to make a good erotic game: one of the most popular NTR games on this site is made using Koikatsu. So I think lot of that content is coming from people who weren't willing to pass that barrier before and now don't have the drive to use it well.

The games I've played with AI art so far match my own experience using AI models for lewd images: incidental detail is promoted to the same significance as every intentional detail. If you take dogshit MS paint art and point to the facial expression, the artist will be able to tell you why she's making that face. With AI art, it may be that they deliberately prompted it, or just that the model felt it was the most likely collection of pixels. And that goes for every single detail in the image. Worse, if you try to correct it by specifying everything in the prompt, the context is poisoned and the output declines.

One game was killed for me when an obviously 'promoted' detail was referred to in the text. The author chose to rewrite their vision to assimilate it rather than generate an output without it.

It's also hard to maintain consistency and progression between assets. Maybe you generate one image with a clothed breast being groped, then another with a nude breast. But how does her face change? Why? Why has it changed in a different way to in a different scene? Each new asset is created in an entirely new context, so keeping ultimate consistency and intentionality would require a model and machine large enough to output everything at once.

It's pretty fun, which isn't necessarily something that you'd expect or want from an NTR game but to be fair there's not much NTR in the game yet so...yeah, and by "fun" i meant that the dialogue is actually pretty good/clever, you're not gonna get abdominal pain from laughing your ass off but i did chuckle a couple of times, i don't wanna give examples cause explaining jokes are never funny but so far i really like this MC.
As for the dev "improving his art", there's no art as of right now that CAN be improved, it's purely pixel sprites with the exception of the full body character models (like in Henteria), but the dev did say that he wants to add CGs at some point.

Too bad the mc isn't oblivious. I know I'm in the minority since every other comment wants a revenge or for the mc to absolutely see and react to the girl cheating, but the corruption ntr with an oblivious mc in mystery ntr feels the best, especially when there is a mask of normality and adventure going on, while the girls slowly change under the hood.

I do find his game's charming but they run into that issue where it feels like if you've played one of his games you've played all of them cause they're basically the exact same game copy/pasted with even the main heroine feeling like the exact same character just with a color palette swap
