What happened to Henteria and n_taii?
Last time I checked he was moving to Japan, but even now no one else here has commented on Henteria...Is anyone here following?

It's not a Henteria specific thing, most of the ongoing games like CotV, Misanthropy, Satisfy Him and Henteria are rarely talked about here because these games have their own threads with a more dedicated audience, and more often than not with the dev as well, and most importantly because these games don't really have specific "release dates", instead they just have updates that are constantly coming out every other month or so, it's never going to be able to get people as riled up as Rain Monster did last week.
This thread is mostly used for newly released finished games (mostly from DLsite), and links for said games, and just discussions about the genre in general, the most talked about ongoing game that i can think of might be Aperture, but 9 out of 10 times that game gets brought up because it's AI, not because it's good.

P.S.: N_Taii is moving to Japan next week, he mentioned it yesterday in his weekly report.

Because most talk about the game on the games page. Just played the latest release that dropped this month, it will prob be coming to an end in teh next few months. I think he went a little too ham on this one and it has gone on too long, I hope he sticks to just a couple girls next one.

Yeah fewer heroines and dont make any optional. Maybe optional order, but you gotta do them all to continue to the next stage.

Feel like the optional stuff ends up limiting him, having to take it into account.

Henterai Chronicles 2 was and is actually one of my favorite NTR games, but N_Taii actually lost me completely with Henteria Chronicles 3, it ... did ... sadly just not hit the right places!
- Female protagonist was not really hitting the spot aka. the princess and the sister, and all them damn side girls i could not care any less about! I felt the game really was a huge miss for me - That said it seemed some really liked it.

I think this is the year of porn games bubble bursting. I feel a lot of games simply went too big in order to milk the patrons and their content ended up diluted in their increased size. also probably the bad global economy means people have less time for luxury stuff like porn games.

to the people that played Ame no Bakemono. are the triggers for the routes that simple?

I was playing the game talking to the citizens and increasing my trust. but I felt like I was walking in circles So I checked the guide and it looks like the routes are more do X on Y day. orientes. so it feels like my wandering was for nothing. do the character actually investigates stuff? or should I just trigger the routes and play them.

What is the recomended setup for playing the game. since it has clothing and certain viewing options. that are not explained that well. like gallery unlocking even if you dont interact with the girl. Like does this mean i have to find her before the deed is done to unlock the scene. does it mean the scenes are repeatable?

there is also something about panties over or under the garther. and something about the view siwtching from the MC to the girl when sex is happening. (that one i dont mind leaving on MC because accesing the gallery is easy)

I did some testing with the first bath scene at the village. and it seems that the game either wants you to play with the viewpoints switching from MC to girl during gameplay. or that you disable that switch and activate unlocking the scene even if the view does not switch. the thing is that some scenes seem to have variations at least the butler one. and if i set it to auto unlock I do not even know wich of the variations happened.

it feels like a shame that there are conflicting mechanics.

If i set it to change the PoV to the girl I miss on the side live view of whatever is happening
If i set it to unlock the gallery I do not know if she had the low mid or high (stat) reaction to the scene.
feels like a new level of cuck dev, you are cucked out of the mechanics.
if there was a way to know wich reactions she has, but it seems from the beginign the character already starts loaded with numbers so is not like I can know if she is virginal or slutty.

When you finish the game , you can use the unlock gallery button, it also unlocks all the states so u can choose. You can get her to start off untouched with the right choices, but its difficult so just choose skip prologue n choose 箱いり状態 for virgin. I always play with male only view n just go to memory room afterwards.

yupp thats the same I suggested N_taii a long time ago... but he wants to stick with 4 for certain reasons. IMO its one of the reasons why the game is dragging on so much.

I really did like HC3 more so then even HC2 which I also really liked. It still has a lot of flaws, but the character development in HC3 was far better then in HC2 where all female LIs just felt very generic and without a certain depth. Apparently that may also lead to people not liking a character because there is less space to interpret (and self-insert) and the characters are so strongly portrayed that you either like them or you don't—just like in real life. I even made a new bucket list for HC4 (as I did with HC3 together with N_taii - HC3 bucket list) - have a look; what do you guys think of it?

Some time ago I also suggested to N_taii to change the whole set-up of HC4 to a e.g. modern - futuristic - steampunk/victorian age. I will explain why shortly, but I think overall it would make for a great change if he would transition HC4 to a modern day or futuristic stage/setting. It would still be the Henteria universe, it could still be fantasy (or maybe more sci-fi or a mixture) just decades later. A little bit like bethesda does it with the elder scrolls and fallout (though they are not connected story/universe-wise).
