Yup, this rework of chapter 1 bring literaly nothing new to the game, pictures looks the same, rachel face looks exacly the same at every single picture. This looks like 2 days job with decent ai pc to me. Not like update people paying for :/

Well the rework dialog is just as bad, same old shit happening nothing new has really changed just the images which are actually worse and still the same old one image events where what happens barely gets shown. What you had going in the original was good before you tried to make it look like a comic. Or add some animations to the events to make it worth while but now after playing this remake i feel like the magic is lost. Just my opinion though.

Last update was a mess and a complete rewrite of the penultimate update, he decided to "rework" just after that.
He doesn't know what he wanna do and what people wanna see (last update some where happy that there wasn't any rachel ... i mean ... if you want to see some baseball don't go to a football game ...), so he's taking his time to find something satisfying.
Wait and see ... one month to go apparently. (^_^)

"Rework" usually means the dev has no fucking clue what to do with the game and is just gonna try and stall/milk some very loyal fans

As I keep saying, the interface improvements and the improved photos are good. Adding a few more photos is fine, but they could have simply introduced that in chapter 12 instead of recreating everything. It just looks like a way to milk their patrons, and that reflects poorly on the author
It could be redeemed if the author updates all episodes up to 11 in a single update, but I doubt he really cares about his patrons that way.

If you count from 1 to 11, sure, it's a lot of updates, but who asked for the rework? Nobody! That's why so many people are complaining, including me. I don't think it's “Dogshit travesty”; they've done an excellent job, except for the remake of the failed episode.
