Here it's staring just fine. Are you downloading the right file? It gives some error message? Any window gets opened or nothing happens at all? Also, try seeing the log files on the game AppData folder.

This update reset everyone's chats, but the game still remembers which texts were already seen, so you can skip it.
This game having multiple routes that you are required to replay to get all scenes, I don't think it's an issue.

Mine is on the Download folder, but I don't remember if I chose it or was it by default.
