Just downloaded a brand new executable from the OP (The Gofile Win one to be specific. I usually download it from Itch.io) and started a brand new save by using the "reset entire savegame" function, and could unlock it all just fine with the code from the OP, even by copy and pasting it...

something i learned that can happen from zip files that require passwords. every once in awhile if you copy and paste a password that was written in a different font size style bold and or what not than the font used in the password box, even if you use view password and it looks right, it can fail. im not tech saavy but from the way it was explained to me is the text fonts are translated from one to the next, but sometimes in translation even though the text visually reads the same the end data is different. in my mind i picture the copy paste adding invisible spaces thus altering pass word. now i manually input passwords for everything from unzipping password protected files to unlocking cheats in games. unless its as long as url, then i just cry.

Sometimes, specially by selecting text by double clicking, some spaces are copied together, thus making the copied text different than intended.
I tried replicating it, but even copy and pasting unlocked all the content first try just fine.
Usually I only type it myself after receiving errors, but just by making sure no spaces is selected (like holding the mouse button and slightly dragging left after double clicking, as to unselect a space character) it's very rare for it to not work.

How the fuck can you not see the yellow words that say patreon code right above the download links?
where does the game store it's files on android, does the apk version also have a directory for the files thats supposed to be on the appdata folder in windows, if so where could I find it?

Never found it, but if you just want the files, you can export the backup and rename it as a .zip.
It's just like the Windows game folder, but compressed and with another file extension.

The Patreon and Itch.io version is the same (for the most part).
When they're different usually is because the Itch.io have some bugfix.
