I don't find the update quite bad like a lots of reviews. At least for me it's fine. While the "cuck path" is not perfect, the "being a fan" is particularly well written. I like the direction it's taking, the only concern is how long it can be dragged out. It's starting to get more complicated, but that's always the case as a story progresses. My problem with the "cuck path" is the fact that It seems that there aren't many other narrative possibilities. Everything is already well defined. Polly does whatever she wants, you accept everything, you are now dependent on her.
Maybe I would emphasize the “cruel” part to create some more conflict? The more she wants to exercise her freedoms, the more the protagonist is forced to limit his. Slowly turning us from simple cuckolds into total doormats could be quite exciting (but i'm biases since i like that shit a lot)
