Not the MC unfortunately, though he isn't the "only one getting some", but rather the married succubus/incubus that raised the MC actually fit what you are looking for. Most of these devs are first time creators, most are not professionals. God, I wish I had the smarts to make a game. I have no clue how to use a RPG Maker MV to cheat.
The dev is asking for money via patreon. They have paying customers. They should be considered a professional and held to the same standard.
Ever heard of the term "Amateur"? those get paid too, so they're throwing a pretty logical justification.
By definition, a professional is someone who gets paid for what they do while an amateur does it for fun or as a hobby. So, in this case, the dev is a professional, regardless of skill level.
Fair enough, getting paid makes you a professional by definition. But not all professionals are equal, game dev has huge skill gaps. You can be a pro in name while still producing work that feels amateur compared to veterans, so like I said before, it’s a fair justification.
