It's a summoning ritual. We grew up looking away when the Playstation 1 and 2 was loading the disc, to trick it into loading the disc. We slammed keyboards to make the computer realize we were mad and really meant it. By bullying the devs into thinking we gave up on the game, they'll surely come back to release the game.
