For those wondering if this improvised version works, I'm currently on day two of Hot Spring, and so far there's only been one scene where a censored image has appeared.
As an aside, there's also another scene where Shota and Chiho are making love on their bed, and the two lovers - pixel images - don't appear on screen, so their bed is empty. For this scene, I didn't restart from a previous save because this had also happened to me in v3.3.3u, and when I restarted the scene, the two lovers reappeared, so it must be a slight bug inherent in the game, and not in my custom version.
The scene I'm talking about is the first scene of the “Hot Springs” event. It's one of two images, or half a scene if you prefer, which is censored. Yes, half a scene, that is, only one image out of the two, if you don't count the various slides that change the expression on Chiho's face. But rather than diving into explanations, take a look at the two images below.
I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm pretty close. I'll update this post once it's finished, but if anyone who's played the original v4.2.2c could give this one a try and tell me if they see any differences between the two, I might be able to correct the errors, well, if I have the time.

Here's my latest save of the game. Check if it's day 63. I'm not quite finished with the game - I still have the foursome with Alice, the drug dealer, and Chiho to get. Please note that my version is modified (uncensored) before copying it to your folder.
I must do something wrong at the 'raise volume and listen carefully minigame' part. The pink bar goes up but she'll get upset and left when it's about half full. I don't see the blue bar on this minigame, what do I have to lookout for?

I finished the game with this one, and expect the scenes which are still censored in the v4.2.2c (set side by side with the previous version), I have no encounter any issue
