Finally got around to playing and finishing this game.
I wonder what the dev was thinking. It kind of starts in a vein that's similar to the first one, in the sense that it's rather ridiculous. (You can sell arousal ffs...) However, unlike the first one, it tries to have something of an actual story and with said story, it tries to be significantly more serious. (Your mileage will vary in terms of how much it succeeds or not.)
Still, the girls go from zero to turbo-slut really fast, much like in the first one. However, in this one, there's several sequences that seem to imply that magic and/or magic drugs were involved to some degree or another. The mentions of Ragnas' magic and the one scene where he obviously uses that drug with Filia say a lot... Beyond that, unlike the previous ones, the antagonists are notably more dedicated to making the MC's life hell. Well, Ragnas is. Abel just seems like a brainless muscle-head who doesn't really seem to understand that what he's doing is wrong in any way.
Also, the "Super Happy-Ending" is... weird... and I think it's not as straightforward as it seems at first glance. If you check out Filia in the party, her H-status doesn't say "Virgin" as it originally did, but rather "Hymen Healed"... which has implications. Furthermore, she has a mile-long ability list that isn't translated, but that also comes with implications if Tiris' previous list was any indication. On top of that, the girls' sprites in the so called Super Happy-Ending don't actually look Happy... So I suspect that ending too is, in some ways, more like the original game's ending.
That is to say, Filia is still a turbo-slut and will act as such. That's my interpretation at least.
In the end, I suppose it doesn't really matter. The story isn't particularly great, nor is the corruption.
What is still pretty good, much like in the first game, is the H-scenes, even with the lack of art. Their length or frequency combined with the writing for them makes them great. If you're into the fetishes involved, the game is pretty stimulating. The only thing I didn't like was the inclusion of pissing stuff near the end. Could've done without that particular fetish... but c'est la vie as they say over in France. It's luckily little enough that it doesn't detract from the whole.
What IS poorer than the 1st game is the gallery tbh. In the sense that unlike the 1st game, you don't have any massive room with all the possible sprites in the game in one place. Which is disappointing. That said, the game is pretty short, so it's not like it's hard to play through its various points to see various things if you feel like it. It's honestly really the kind of game where the scenes are better in context anyway...
Still, pretty great game. Too bad that the Dev dropped off the face of the planet, so we'll never get a NTRPG 3 or 4. Henteria 1 is... not a worthy successor as far as I'm concerned... I'll see later if the other games are better about things.
