I believe 0.18 actually came out back in August or September for Patreon. The dev's primary focus has been on getting a polished release together/accepted for Steam since then. (Which if you've been following this thread you know that ultimately involved re-rendering a bunch of the game to remove uniforms because some idiot game reviewer at steam thought that uniforms denoted the characters being too young)

Well, it's over 2 years, yes, but with 18 releases. This game is very much still active (see the comment just above yours, for instance).

I suppose you are referring to "Trapped in Mysterious Lewd Island" as the other project? As the added "(friend)" behind the link hints, that's actually someone else's game. Apparently the other developer is no longer active. In fact, in the developer notes Elsa (the developer of this game) says, referring to cheezygirl (the developer of the other game): "I am a friend of Anna [...] and she has helped and taught me alot."

Or perhaps Elsa94 has other thing to do like a job, studies, family to care for, other responsibilities, and even a social life, and some time for herself.
You know, not everybody is a kid living in their parents basement, pampered and nurtured by their mommy.
