Just finished this game. it's my 4th DK game. I've done Dusklight manor, Erotica and Lancaster boarding house previously. I would say that out of those 4 it is my favorite. I started with Charlotte, but after like an hour, i grew tired and annoyed of her and LisaRoche and restarted. It was too obvious the game kept pushing her kinda as the main girl to pursue. Also, goddam was the mom annoying. No amount of saying no stops her. Till the end of the game she tries to bang you. I picked Hazel after, and it was decent. Her ending was mid. School pranks forever. Its like, grow up. It wasn't enough you got beat the fuck up and that Jacob wanted to rape you and you still live just fuck with people? I'm surprised she wasn't expelled from the school. Im also surprise she wasn't a virgin. With her attitude, some Chads still tried, got her interest and succeeded at tapping her? That's surprising.
Then, i was intrigued and decided to do a Stag route. I was surprised as it was pretty good. It was different from the "family" drama and monotony and those parts felt like a different story arc where the treatment of Charlotte was still present, but in the background. I really liked Kate and found that path and ending great. I had done Lancaster maybe 2 weeks ago and it was a nice touch to revisit locations in the same universe. I guess it before Lancaster took place and Jason still is in a couple with that bitchy girl. That dude's been deflowering girls and being paid for it as a hobby for what it seems years now lol.
So now, there's more than one sex cults which are all funded by old rich perverts, to which in all his games, they seems to keep finding an endless flow of virgins wanting to be deflowered by strangers in occult rituals they've read in books. I've now noticed its a trend in all of his games that there's a sex cult and also that any female model he includes in his games that has more than one dialogue line, he WILL give you an opportunity to somehow bang her at least once using whatever reason or excuse to set up the scene. It also seems that you can be a fuckboy without much penalties as all the girls knows you cheat, they tell you its bad, but also they don't care and want to jump on any dicks too, until later in the game where you need to pick one girl for the ending.
The writing was ordinary. The MC act like a bitch most of the time but the worst is his indecisiveness and being a massive pussy. The cheating ex keep spamming him and just show up and she lies that she's your sister. The MC cant even tell the family she's the psycho ex and to kick her out? The mom and Hazel accepts her right away and let her stay and Charlotte just also switch personality and go with it? It was easy enough to just say to Jack, listen my guy, either you kick that slut out or I'm out and find another therapist. You can't even rat her out to Jenny that she's on the pill and she's just there to get gangbanged. The Jacob guy beat the fuck up Hazel and you just let him run past you? Not even tripping him and beating the shit out of him? He jerks off to them at THEIR house and they STILL keep hanging with him? After all of that, the MC can still just make peace like nothing happened? Then he beats that dancer/stripper or whatever at the party and no one just think to call the cops as he may be kinda an unhinged violent women beater? They dump that Bonnie slut out at night in the storm almost naked and she STILL go be their sex slave afterwards? Comon man.
