Well fuck I’ll say it- I liked the new video, actually one of my favorites. The Nya characters come off as much more attractive to me than the exaggerated bimbo women. Nyakumi finally having the nya characters top each other is a dream come true and I hope he does more of it.

One of the problems is how inconsistent he is with models.

It genuinely seems that Nyakumi is tired of these animations, that's why they seem half baked, lazy and often delayed. It's no longer a hobby, but a job, which they don't want to do. If it weren't for the money, it seems they would quit long ago.
I mean, these animations don't seem hard to do - they are not realistic, they don't have quality models, they don't have complex physics or lighting or sound. It's literally as simple as it can be - two models imitating sex and cliping into each other as they do so. Some time ago, Nyakumi was pumping out quality stuff, in my opinion they struck gold with that HMV style of their animations. They were always different, creative, with lots of lewd sex, high tempo and banger music that compensated for the simplicity of them. But nowadays, it's kinda meh... Like Nya has no idea what to do anymore or ran out of creativity.

Yeah, the thing with nyakumi is that he has that fixed schedule. He always releases 1 full animation per month, whether that animation is complete or not. Ocasionally, he even posts deleted scenes, right? Because of that, and the fact that hes studying at the same time, his animations nowadays are rushed and not creative at all, its just "another animation" every month. I truly wish he would just start working on animations for over a month until they are done, maybe release only short vids monthly, like nyl does

Why would artists bother trying to do better when their work is critiqued by those that don't pay for it? I ain't even saying don't pirate it, do it to your heart's content. Having fans criticize your work is like having a free pass to heaven. They are people who care about your product and want to improve it. People don't criticize because they "hate" your product. Criticism always has a focus, which allows the recipient to adjust the product to one that satisfies the consumer's needs in a broader/better way.

And having the emotional stability to understand this, allows you to create works of art like No Man's Sky, a game that, at first, was garbage, and today, thanks to the hard work of the developers and the community in criticizing and offering feedback, is one of the best games of its kind. The absolute opposite of that "don't criticize me, I don't pay attention and I don't accept criticism" thing, is Yandere Simulator, in which the developer, Yanderedev, is known worldwide for being a garbage developer. In all these years he has been on that game project, and has learned almost nothing. Criticism works and is good, that approach of "we are garbage because we criticize Nyakumi" is sad.

I stopped supporting with my money long time ago (you can find the reasons in my past comments) and I've always maintained a critical stance both while I was giving him money and now that I'm not, seeing how each release is a degree lower than what we had long been used to is annoying.

And btw, that "People are always critical of animations no matter the artist", I want you to find a criticism of artists like Nyl2, Audrix3DX, Sodeno191 or any top porn animator in a way Nyakumi's critics are, because although there is some truth on that, the reasons are completely all the way around.

I mean yeah, you're describing what I classify as "the Patreon problem": creators phoning it in more and more as they lose their passion and their creativity. And making things worse is that the Patreon model doesn't actually reward high-quality output, your just have to keep creating *something* to keep the subscribers strung along. (I'm not saying I'm the first to point it out or notice it, or anything like that)

I will push back slightly on the idea that the animations aren't hard; They aren't impressive on a technical level but animations like these can still take dozens of hours to put together into something even halfway decent.
