The main idea of your approach is to convert community communication into a purely functional file sharing.You say that but you know I am right. If f95 holds itself as a website about pirating and not useless internet forum #488568199. Then giving these people like a month ban can only help the website. You could sit there for hours and you wouldnt be able to come up with 1 counter argument to not having that as a rule.
Then it will make the site into a catalogue of shares with 0 comments under each topic.
The flaw of this logic lies in the following - it's the community that enabled sharing, not the other way around.
Overall, I agree that some members or posts may be irritating, but that is not the reason to ban people. Or try to convert communication into pure file sharing.
