Nyl is objectively the best porn animator, by far.
Seeing him wasting his time with short, loop and other bullsh*ts is a big shame, it's as if Leonardo had only drawn one eye of the Mona Lisa...
and I don't care if Nyl earns even more making loop and short... I'm not his bro... I just want to see him at his best.

Exactly cuz Nyl can't work 24/7 and exactly cuz he said he's working on the episode, he should not "waste" is time.. and I don't mean his free time, it should be ez to understand.

you'd rather him only work on the episode after episode and nothing else it seems
working on other smaller things helps prevent burnout
You're nor anyone else isn't paying him currently since his billing is paused
saying he's wasting his time making small animations is just not true at all.

I don't understand the need some people have (I'm not talking about anyone in particular) to come here to complain about about this challenge animations. Would they rather Nyl didn't release them therefore preventing all of us who enjoyed them to have our fun? When Bordello 4 comes out I'll probably just celebrate with everyone else. If Nyl decides his next animation will be, say, Pokemon, I'll most likely not dld it but if I see people are into it, I'll just step back from the thread and return when he releases something I'm interested in.

Hey, it looks like a lot of people are having trouble accessing my posts as of yesterday. I didn't do anything on my end and it seems to be applied inconsistently across my patrons, so I can only assume its an issue on Patreon's end. I haven't gotten an email or message from them of any kind so it might be a technical problem for them.
In the mean time I've submitted a support ticket so hopefully the issue gets resolved soon.

I think NYL Nil is pretty much over this whole animator thing at this point. He did an interview a few years back talking about how he didn't want to do this forever, and you can clearly see he is either burnt out, or has no interest in doing it anymore. Just riding it out for the money at this point.
Its been almost a year and a half since he started working on that fabled Bordello episode. If he were actually working on it, the episode would have been finished a long ass time ago. Instead, he keeps pumping out 10 sec loops because it seems that's all he can stomach to make these days.
These animation challenges really puts things into perspective when you see him making a 10 sec loop every day for 3 days, then when he goes back to his "regular schedule" you see a single 10 sec loop each month. I don't doubt it takes a ton of hours to make that loop in a single day, but when that's all he releases in a single month it really shows just how little he actually works on things overall.

People who are over it usually don't put rules on themselves to make things more challenging to improve on said things. You really can't understand why the schedule for a 3 day challenge and normality aren't the same? That's the entire point of the challenge, to have a time constraint.
Everyone complaining about the challenges saying shit like "Nyl is the best animator but these challenges aren't fappable... sad!" with zero thought as to why Nyl does these challenges and has done for years. This is how artists improve, this is why Nyl is one of the best.

My complaint with these animation challenges isn't about fapability its about productivity. All it does is show me how much work these animators are capable of doing...and how much that productivity seems to drop of the face of the earth when not doing challenges.
Its easy to make short loops, that's why we have hundreds of wannabes 3d animators. Another thing completely is making a big animation (10-20) where you have constant mesh problems, you have to sincronize mouth movement for the VA work, constant posing and render times. Perfectdeadbeat has been making gadabout for four years now and we still don't know if we will have it this year. Point is shits takes time, the only 3d artist that pumps big movies is opiumud and his shit is garbage.
I just feel that there simply must be a middle ground here between taking 4 years for an animation and a one day 10 second loop. Many creators just don't seem to be able to figure it out.
Now depending on their intentions, it may not matter to them. But my logical brain looks at all this and says that something is wrong here, these people need a manager.

You get more money, the amount you can do grows with it. But details add time. And Nyl is like one of the most detail heavy creators next to KisX (who need I remind you is still in the short loop phase). And generally as a creator, taking too much time on anything can burn you out pretty fast. So it helps to take breaks, and do other things on the side.
If they were creating nothing and sharing no information, and also still pulling in monthly support, then I could see taking issue with them. But if they're upfront, showing progression, and generally do the right thing and pausing monthly support when they know there's nothing to show, I'd say that warrants leeway on their part.

As much as I love the 3 minute animations from creators like Nyl, even just short 10 second loops like these drive me wild. Whatever is easier on the creator and helps them avoid burnout, I'm all for it.
You couldn't pay me to play Overwatch but I think the female characters go well with porn because they're all blandly attractive waifus. Going to sound like a pleb but I probably prefer them over the BG3 characters. Half of them are generic humanoids, the other half are fantasy races with weird faces and unattractive dermatological conditions. Nyl's BG OCs on the other hand tend to look like matronly amateur MILFs from Eastern Europe
