just started this game have to talk to guild receptionist but its Japanese and no options to click so cant progress any help?

If you're just starting out, I think that's where you have to check the job board first and trigger a cutscene.
i did that then talk at the desk and its not English but there are parts that say ID followed by numbers

I just did a quick run through of 0.28, and I'm not seeing this part with the ID and numbers. Just to get a few details:
1) Are you playing v0.28?
2) this is right after you meet Kohaku but before you take any quest for the first time?
3) Could you post a screenshot of what happens?

For future reference. There is a screenshot program that works for Windows called 'Lightshot'. Pretty handy for this sort of things.

The additional contents of 0.30 are as follows.
・ Story expansion: The main story "Promotion Exam" has been implemented. It starts by talking to Leon in the port city.
・ New characters
・ Implementation of follower system: You can bring a follower who has a contract after the main part promotion test is completed. Only the servant Yarizo who can be taken now.
・ New event
・ New costume
・ Added mob "human" costume
And ... Finally, Yarizo is implemented in the main story!
