sup some quick news right now theres a poll
Since people are saying that the Minigames are fine but its really not worth for the waiting time so techno kinda is asking if
Minigames per month or Quest per month(on the current game) he is not gonna progress the story but i do wonder if the Quest win maybe we see more stuff of the other characters

Not sure which part you're having trouble with, but if you're wondering where to find the actual spot to complete the quest, it's as it says in the guide you quoted, but i'll expand a bit

Once you leave the city (Go south as far as you can until you end up on a map) you'll have different nodes you can go to, the patrol location is a little road icon (not the blank circles) down and a bit to the right of the city, if you select that location then selet move and then enter you'll end upon a road with some people around, talk to the guard and then just head right for a bit until you get a little cutscene thing, then head north and you'll meet a couple being attacked by a goblin

i probably should have given more details, but this helped a lot. in my case, i had already done all the quest in the map, the potion maker leveled up to 4, the succubs event..... all quest except for the this one which i think is the path to keep going, the last quest was the quest that the priest girl died, miracle something.

I think the game is bugged. i can't level up my adventure rank even with 50+ fame and chapter 1 completed. the promotion from the receptionist does not appear

(There is a lot of info that's outdated and a lot confusion on the thread, I want to add some FAQ to this post or maybe on another post, but right now I don't have the time, so if some else hasn't done it by the time I'm more free I will.)

If Yarizo doesn't appear after reaching level 2, try this (worked for me).
Open www/data/Map013.json and replace (ctrl+H) this:
"conditions": { "switch1Id": 291, "switch1Valid": true, "switch2Id": 302, "switch2Valid": false, "variableId": 9, "variableValid": true, "variableValue": 2}
with:
"conditions": { "switch1Id": 291, "switch1Valid": false, "switch2Id": 1, "switch2Valid": false, "variableId": 1, "variableValid": false, "variableValue": 0}
This will force Yarizo's join event to trigger. Make a backup before editing, and consider restoring the original conditions after the event occurs.

EDIT:

For 0.8E, do a Ctrl+H:
Replace:
"switch1Id":291,"switch1Valid":true,"switch2Id":302,"switch2Valid":false,"variableId":9,"variableValid":true,"variableValue":2
With:
"switch1Id":291,"switch1Valid":true,"switch2Id":1,"switch2Valid":false,"variableId":1,"variableValid":false,"variableValue":0

Basically, no matter which version you're on, just search for “ヤリゾー” in Map013 and tweak the switch2 and variable in the conditions — that should fix it.

Are you using the patches? This is a bug that was fixed with a Patch. If I'm not wrong the last Patch was E (0.80e), but the OP only linked Patch C, you can find the others if you search the thread and I don't know if Patch E contains all the other previous Patches, in my case just to be sure, I installed every Patch.

I Attached every Patch I have just in case.
