We don't take kindly to those types here in the Temple of Techno. While literally every other thread on this site is happy with posting games and not respecting the devs, we do things differently here because Technobrake (praise be His name) deserves better.

Not necessarily, there is no real rule on leaking the latest version. The link to the latest version is already up on Patreon and can be uploaded here whenever one of the current supporters feel like it. It could be posted here within an hour or over 2 weeks later.
The "Wait 1 week" rule is just an idea being floated around here for the supporters to delay leaking the latest version. Reasoning being that supporters would stop supporting if they can get it within a day from someone else anyways. Long term support will hopefully lead to a completed game someday which would be preferable to playing incomplete demos a couple days earlier.
