Did they tone down the attack on the orphanage as well ? Those human-eating Knolls scared the f outta me when I first met them in the game long ago. The confrontation between Jimmy and the thug's leader is gone as well...
Nope the orphanage wasn't toned down. It currently doesn't exist at all. Has either been removed or will come later. I personally think it was removed and won't be coming back though. And maybe I wasn't paying attention and missed the dialogue. But I don't recall even seeing mention of the knolls. Everything you knew before, might as well be forgotten.

Well, the older one was on VX ace, then got ported to MV with most of its content. It's just a shame Dev want to rewrite some part of the story so there's no telling how the story will turn out. For the most part, you can safely ignore the older VX ace ver.
Pre 0.50 stories are basically the same as this one minus the prologue and the newly added adventurer couple/duo.

Honestly this probably isn't even the first time he's done that as I've said it before in this thread but I've always had the impression he never really wanted the game to have a real story focus at all and instead wanted it to be more of a fantasy version of Nymphomania Paradox. Like I think he intended the game to be more open ended with you focusing on build up Kohaku's stats and having her interact with specific guys like Yarizo or even your uncle to get whatever sort of ending you wanted. For example the uncles intro implies he'd end up doing stuff with her and you'd interact with him a lot like you would Yarizo but it just never goes anywhere. Also I remember in really old versions (like around .2-3 old if I'm remembering right) I would occasionally experience a glitch where Kohaku would randomly get addiction to Dogeshuna which implies she was intended to be able to regularly interact with im too.

I don't know every method, but you can make the Priestess learn a Sexy Dance skill and use it in combat, this will increase lust +1, but only up to 50 Lust. Also if you have Sex with her you can increase Lust and Love up to 100 Lust and 150 Love.
